He's one of the best in town!
I've been coming to this place for nearly 15+ long years - totally satisfied with Victor's workmanship, honesty and integrity!
Will go to no other places unless he retires one day - which would surely be a huge loss in English Bay!

I needed my ring cut, resized and this place was the only one that could do that in Downtown. We went to many jewellers that could resize rings (usually off-site) but none could cut it. We only found this place last but I'm glad we went there because the customer service from this gentleman is by far higher than what we get in Vancouver.
He took great care of me prepping the finger to cut the ring, while cutting it and then, after he cut my ring (which was a scary process really!) he gave me a chocolate bar to help!
Who does that besides amazing people?
The craftsmanship was also really good and at a good price.

I've had numerous watch batteries replaced here for various styles of watches. The owner is friendly, fast and reasonably priced. I'm glad to have a local business in the neighborhood to help. Thanks ⌚🙌🏽

April 2025, I had 2 items serviced here. My write up is concerning my watch only (battery replacement) and we'll call it 'IT'S YOUR PROBLEM!'. I left the store and looked at my watch again in the bright sunlight & noticed 1 of the decorative screw heads was missing. I returned to the store immediately & showed the store man & he told me he didn't touch it and said 'It's your problem!' like 3 times! I checked his work desk & even the carpet where he works, no luck, I even asked if he sold these screw heads, no was the answer. I left and went home. A few days later I decided to wear my watch and noticed the date was not current and realized the man only set the time & I thought how lazy. Every other place I've bought a new battery, they've always set the time and date. So I tried to change the date to no avail, why because the small knob (the crown) would not pull out further than setting the time. I wonder if the store man knew after setting the time & couldn't change the date? and let me leave with my watch. I was going out of town and took my watch with me and had my watch serviced again, this time the 2nd store owner said the small knob was just jammed in too tight. I think the man at the English Bay Jewellers put the watch back on too roughly and jammed the small knob and most likely that's also when my screw head popped out. The additional watch service was $25 + tax! (all this because I needed a new battery). I did think about letting the English Bay Jewellers know, however what for? I did NOT trust his workmanship and the man pissed me off so badly. I will never return to his store & I still hear 'IT'S YOUR PROBLEM!'

English Bay Jewellers is the best! 3 generations of my family and my Aunt and Uncle have been regular customers here starting in the 1970’s or 1980’s I think. The owner Victor is always friendly with a happy smile on his face.
