This place was absolutely amazing. The food was fantastic. We got the Adana kebab and the Hunkar Begendi. I couldn’t be happier with the choices. The baked feta appetizer was tasty as well.
My wife and I had Lamb Shank and Branzino Filet (sea bass). Branzino is fresh, tasteful, delicious. Lamb Shank soft, juicy, delicious. Lamb Shank sauce is a little salty though. Service is very good. Restaurant is clean.
Love this place! Great for a family gathering or a quick lunch. Nothing fancy but the food is authentic, tasty and very affordable. Great flavors, very good service. They have branzino and lamb which is always a + 👍👍
We got a shared family style meal and the majority of the items were delicious. They have some of the best hummus I've ever tasted and the bread that they served at the beginning of the meal was amazing. The fire grilled vegetables were absolutely delicious and I wish that there were more of them served with this dish. I particularly enjoyed the kebab. Unfortunately the gyro which was provided in tiny slices was very dry. All of the sauces that were presented were fabulous. Since everything else tasted so good I believe that the gyro might be a one-off, don't let that one thing to sway you from visiting, it was an excellent experience overall.
Ephesus is a great Mediterranean restaurant. Our experience there was fantastic! Food is freshly prepared, hot and flavorful. I think its location next to the grocery store may mistakenly take away its appeal. Once inside though, the place feels and looks very classy and clean. It is nicely decorated and well attended. The atmosphere is very inviting and pleasant. After you are seated, you are almost immediately served with a basket of freshly baked bread that is hot and fluffy and goes so well with flavored butter. The hot tea is absolutely delicious, presented in classic Turkish glasses. When you ask for refills they literally make a fresh batch and serve it super-hot and fresh every time. Calf’s liver as a hot appetizer was delicious and was served with tomato salad that complemented it very well. Zucchini pancakes were super fresh and crispy served with delicious tzatziki and vegetable salad. Chicken kebab was very flavorful, tender and juicy. There is a vegetable casserole on the menu, but it is actually a vegetable stew, something resembling ratatouille, but cooked with Mediterranean spices. It was marvelous with rice pilaf. Chef’s special is a beautiful plate of chicken kebab topped with shoe-string potatoes. French fries as a side were super fresh and delicious as well. We also splurged on baklava, and it was very good, especially with fresh hot tea. I am very glad that we have found this delightful restaurant! Highly recommend it to anyone who is in the mood for Mediterranean food, or just quality food in general.
