Believe the bad reviews. Three months of waiting for nothing because I was sold a Herman Miller chair even though the salesperson knew perfectly well, and said nothing, that EQ3 was in dispute with their company and that there was no possible delivery date. After three months of waiting, no message, no notification, no follow-up. I had to contact three (3) different people to get an explanation. I was offered a refund by email, then no response for over three weeks. I had to go to the store. Thank God I got my full refund. I don't understand how they can treat customers who spend thousands of dollars in their store like this. A pure and simple scandal that I should have avoided by reading the bad reviews. I'll learn my lesson. (There are other Herman Miller retailers in Montreal; consider them if you want one.)

I bought a BOND table and four chairs from the same collection in April 2025: I received the four chairs, but the table order has been delayed three times, and the response I received on September 15, 2025, is the same as the last few times. They are dependent on the supplier and don't know if they will receive it. And they have no way of knowing if I will receive the table in November or not. As a result, I'm stuck with the chairs. I can't return them because they won't take them back either. However, they've had the money since April, for example. I'm now stuck with four chairs and no table. I find it dishonest to sell nothing and collect interest on the money of people who bought things and will then have to cancel. Moral of the story: be careful when you buy from EQ3. Update November 2025: The order has indeed been delayed in November. Then in November, I was contacted to say that the order had been postponed to December 2025. We therefore decided to cancel the table order.

Delay after delay. Very disappointing. We were thrilled to buy a modern, comfortable sofa made in Canada. Unfortunately, the experience turned into a nightmare. After an initial one-month delay, we were told to expect another 6 to 8 weeks, provided we changed the fabric. These operational errors are unacceptable and demonstrate a lack of respect for the consumer. If you want to avoid frustration and an empty living room for months, go to the competition.

False advertising. My wife went into the store because of a sale sign in the front window that indicated $100 off for every $500 spent and in there she found exactly the kind of electric recliner we have been looking for for quite some time selling at $1299. So the two of us went back to make the purchase a couple of days later. We checked the web site and saw that the discount was still being offered for one last day. But when we went to make the purchase the sales lady announced to our surprise that the discount “did not apply to floor models”. We came away feeling duped because there was nothing on either the poster or the web site indicating there were any exceptions to the discount offer - no fine print, nor asterisks. nor footnotes. How were we supposed to know? So we left without the chair and having wasted our time making 2 trips to the store. Sorry, EQ3, you only get one star for lack of integrity.
