False advertising. My wife went into the store because of a sale sign in the front window that indicated $100 off for every $500 spent and in there she found exactly the kind of electric recliner we have been looking for for quite some time selling at $1299. So the two of us went back to make the purchase a couple of days later. We checked the web site and saw that the discount was still being offered for one last day. But when we went to make the purchase the sales lady announced to our surprise that the discount “did not apply to floor models”. We came away feeling duped because there was nothing on either the poster or the web site indicating there were any exceptions to the discount offer - no fine print, nor asterisks. nor footnotes. How were we supposed to know? So we left without the chair and having wasted our time making 2 trips to the store. Sorry, EQ3, you only get one star for lack of integrity.

I purchased a daybed which was delivered with 2 stains. Customer service did not want to replace the stained parts. I was given the option to return the daybed and get a full refund. I returned the bed and was advised by customer service that my refund would be processed via e-transfer within 5-7 business days. It has been 2 weeks and I have not been reimbursed. So EQ3 has their bed and they have my money. And I can’t even speak to a manager. I am not impressed !

This is not a complaint about the staff on site, but the company support service. The staff on site was nice and knew their stuff.. but after logging a support ticket about feathers poking through a very expensive couch I purchased the resolution was that I had to spend more with them to get the feather casings changed to another material. 3k CAD for a couch that I have to take feathers out every day... And the solution is 'give us more money'. All this I reported within the first year of warranty AND I got the extended warranty. ***Update : 1 star now. Sadly this is not a satisfactory reply. You have my name and you can find my email. You will see that customer care did not take care of me and like I mentioned before the resolution is that I had to spend more money out of pocket to fix a clear design flaw in your product.

We bought a wooden table with 2 extensions and 4 wooden chairs that got delivered and installed by 2 unpleasant and not nice guys. After a month of use, we discovered that one of the extensions was broken and one of the chairs was bumpy so we had to call to see if they could fix it. They decided to send a new table and a new chair and the 2 same unpleasant guys came over to install the table. When the installation was finished, we notice that the new table has a weird pattern in zigzag that does not seem natural. We call again to check what is this pattern and we get a template response saying that this is a natural product and that different patterns may occur and thus, it is not considered a defect and it cannot be exchanged 😭. So now we are stuck with a table that we don't even like it.

My wife and I dealt with Marlond this week regarding purchasing a dining room table. We both agree that his service was one of the best that we ever had, anywhere. He is very knowledgeable about the products and was extremely helpful. He was courteous and professional and showed that he was genuinely interested in helping us. We have nothing but good things to say about his service and he is one of the reasons why we decided to come back and finalize our purchase. On a scale of 1 to 10 his service was a 20! Looking forward to dealing with him again in the future.
