I have done an abnormal amount of escape rooms in the last 12 months (probably more than 20) in several states and I can attest that the rooms here are top-notch. You get lost in the worlds that they have built out and you can tell the designers put a lot of thought and effort into not only the puzzles but also the environment they put you in as well. The employees are very helpful and are there to assist you with light touches when you need it and outright shoves in the right direction when you are completely lost. I took my mother (60) to hear for her first escape room and she was very nervous about the whole experience and I believe taking her here as her first experience was the right choice. They were accommodating to ensuring she felt useful during the process as well as gave wardings of any potentially triggering / upsetting material coming forward. She was afraid of being scared and while there was no jump scares they did warn of potentially upsetting material coming forward which I appreciated. Overall 10 out of 10 will be coming back here when I'm back in town and recommending to locals in RVA as well.

So fun! And crazy detailed! Absolutely a must do in RVA. The guides are super helpful and kind - only bummer was they don't hand out the pins any more. But other than that awesome! We did Cthulhu and Algernon, really fun.
