It was alright. The escape room was fun, but they only had a couple of puzzles to figure out before you finished the game. I think about half the puzzles we had to ask the gm to give us hints, which made it feel like we didn't figure out anything at all. I wish there were more clues and hints to allow us to process little by little. Instead, there are basically like 5 big puzzles, which are like 2-3 steps before clearing.
Fun escape room for little kids (my kids were ages 10 and 8). We too, as parents, had fun and maybe we’re weak at it, but it took us a lot of hints and using up all the time available to finally solve it! It was a good time! Park at Portsmouth Square for easy parking close by.
This was our 3-person family's first escape room, and while we (mostly, we parents) had a bit of trouble on where and how to start (despite instructions from on-site manager Harry), we managed to do it (with a lot of hints, again, from Harry, LOL). The important part is my 10-year-old had so much fun trying to solve the puzzles. We're looking forward to the next!
This is a low-tech, super fun, beginner escape room, with accessible puzzles and engagement for the whole family. My crew, ages 7, 12, 15 and adult all had a great time. Added bonus: located near good snacks and interesting areas to wander around afterward!
The three boys (aged 7, 8, 9) all loved their first ever escape room experience. The room is perfect for ages 7+. We did help the kids only b/c it was their first room and they were learning the skill. They want to do it again :))
