⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We went to Esteban for dinner last night (25Jan26) and it was outstanding from start to finish. To begin we shared tJanhe Taco de Camarón (prawn taco) and the Smoked Black Bean Dip), both packed with flavour and beautifully balanced. We then moved on to the Pork Taco (Taco de Cerdo) and the Woodsmoked Scallops, which were cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. For mains we shared the Twice Cooked Pork Belly with Esteban’s Potatoes and could not fault a thing. Every dish felt thoughtful, well executed, and OMG so enjoyable. The service was exceptional without being overbearing, and the atmosphere struck that perfect balance of casual yet intimate. The margaritas deserve a special mention, especially The Tequila Mockingbird and the Cadillac Margarita, both easily some of the best we have had. We also asked for a surprise and were made an espresso martini with tequila instead of vodka, which was incredible! Even though we were very full, we could not skip dessert. We finished with the Blood Orange Sorbet and the Corn Ice Cream with Popcorn, which was the perfect way to end the meal. A fantastic dining experience with great food, great drinks, and warm attentive service. We will absolutely be back.
We booked a table before a show and were seated at the kitchen bench. From the very start, the experience was outstanding. Francesca was fantastic—knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely engaging. We loved watching the chefs work in perfect sync; it was like watching a well‑oiled machine. The food was delicious and perfectly portioned. We ordered several dishes to share, and every single one was excellent. We mentioned that our reservation was for a birthday (we both had birthdays that month), and this was the only restaurant that acknowledged it—with a complimentary cocktail, no less. Highly recommended!
The Mog Champ sends his regards. Visited for their happy hour recently as I wanted to try their fancy tacos. They only provide happy hour on the three tables outside so the earlier you get there the better. Favourite was the pork belly tacos! We ordered all the happy hour options along with two cocktails. Service was good and the food is enjoyable. The tequila cocktails is a bit much for our tastes but it was nice to try it out. Booked in advance and ordered the 1kg steak — absolutely worth it. The steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavour, and the cocktails were equally impressive. Great atmosphere and a very enjoyable overall dining experience. Will definitely come back again. Really loved this place.
Highly recommend - everything was delicious and would gladly return for more. We had the premium set meal which gave us the opportunity to have a little taste of everything. The ceviche was delicious - tart, light and refreshing but the taco highlight for me was the steak tartare. The meat dishes (pork belly and steak) were cooked very well and seasoned nicely - that black garlic butter was amazing. Interesting take on the caesar salad and the crema for the potato was tasty. Great finisher with the dessert - the dulce de leche ice cream wasn't as heavy or sweet as I thought it would be. Cozy, warm and dim ambience; perfect for date night and we left feeling very satisfied.
