Unlike recent comments, I have always received a good service. The staff is serious but kind. Sometimes they are just chatting but there is always someone that comes to the rescue. In terms of food, I have been coming here since 2021 and this place used to have such delicate cakes. The perfect balance between filling ang cake. Since the end of 2025 the quality has decline significantly. Their pastries taste like butter and eggs in almost everything I have ordered lately. Even the breakfast croissants lack crispiness and filling. It's like eating a butter bar with a hint of spinach and feta. All business have bad weeks but again, this has been the constant for at least 4 four months. Recently, I got a scone that had no sugar and I could smell the butter. Yes, scones are made of mostly butter but I never had the issue of literally smelling it with no flavor in it. I changed it for a blueberry muffin and again, you can taste and smell the butter and eggs, without that sugary/vanilla flavor. Coffee it's still amazing. I love that they partner with Sunergos and they always make my latte 10 out of 10. I really hope they can fix the food issue and bring back the old good desserts.

Came in about 4:45 and waited behind a couple of people to order. Ordered two large drinks and two bakery items. I ordered a “fruit pastry” and pointed to the item in the case. The employee said we don’t have any pastries. I was confused and asked (pointing again) if those weren’t available. He said “that’s not a pastry it’s a tart.” Okay…so I ordered a fruit tart. So we ordered and he asked if it was for here. We said yes and he didn’t say anything about closing. (Of note, three other couples came in behind us) We sat down and got our large hot drinks, in like five minutes. I was still blowing mine off to be cool enough to drink when employees turned off several of the lights. We tried to eat fast and drink fast. One of the other employees came over while I was trying to finish and said I need all your dishes. I tossed the rest down and gave her the cup. I went to use the restroom before leaving but the hallway was pitch black and someone called out—it’s closed. So, the food and drink were delicious but the experience was abysmal. All they had to do when we walked in was say “we’re closing soon”. We would’ve turned around and gone somewhere else.

Some of the BEST chai latte here in Kentucky! I got the iced version and it was perfectly spiced and not overly sweet. The pastries are made from scratch and baked fresh daily! I got to try their cakes, the pumpkin roll and cherry chocolate, which were moist and tasty. The service is friendly and quick to help when making a decision feels impossible with all the options! Overall, food and drinks are Quality, Affordable, and Satisfy the sweet tooth cravings! 100000% recommend treating yourself here! Shout out to Julia!!! Best barista out there:)

Top notch bakery. We were told that this is the best bakery in Lexington and it did not disappoint. All the pastries we tried were delicious. As far as reviews that complain that staff don’t smile or aren’t friendly, this is a European bakery staffed by Eastern Europeans. If you know anything about Eastern European culture, then you may be aware that they don’t smile a ton. It’s just a cultural thing, so don’t take it personally. We thought the service here was great and the staff was attentive to serve us as soon as we walked up to the counter. Thanks for doing an amazing job, European Delights. Keep up the good work. We’ll look forward to visiting Lexington again so we can eat more of your pastries!

This place had a great selection of cake and house made pastries. If you want to get bagels or croissants get in early because we missed out. I had carrot cake and my hubbie got red velvet. They were both delicious and we ended up getting a selection to take back home. You can even purchase whole cakes to take home or themed cookie boxes. The atmosphere was lovely. Several people were using it as a work space while having a treat.
