Finding a climbing wall is hard that fits your own personal prerequisites. But this place and Canary Wall fits everything to the tee. Especially the music choice of each individual staff member. I very much enjoy Bollywood on Friday, can we get some Bloody wood, and I seem to acquire niche music choices by attending there. Also as a disabled individual, the wall feels safe enough that I don't feel too worried or belittled, everyone, from the staff to the other attendees are so motivating and supportive and happy to help.
I’ve been visiting this climbing center for over a year. I never thought I could be into this sport so much. Staff is friendly and patient all the time to me. The vibe here is good, the environment is always bright and cleaner than other branches. This is my favourite climbing center. If you are a person looking for good climbing center, please come here.
Staff were helpful and friendly. The layout is nice with good amount of showers. This gym is split between two buildings and there is a good variety of different climbs for a London climbing gym.
Small but mighty. A climbing haven in the centre of corporate seriousness. From the moment you enter the centre you're greeted like a long lost friend, a sharer of the world's greatest secret, that climbing on a Monday morning is the best life choice ever. The coffee was delicious, the routes varied and interesting. The staff are so lovely, including the fabulous Lewis Parkinson who coaches here. They also have a kilter board which was super fun to try and make new friends whilst tackling crazy big moves and comparing back flags. If you're in London and you want to see what the fuss is all about.. go here!
First experience in a climbing gym within London. Staff is friendly and all “first time climbing at this gym” forms can be completed online. Entrance fee for peak time is quite steep. 18 euros. They have a small selection of drinks for sale. Change rooms are unisex, there are lots of lockers and it’s safe enough to have it without a lock. It’s a small but comfortable venue. It was peak time so it was slightly difficult to find a spot to sit and rest after a climb but everyone was generally quite friendly. Perhaps this is the convention in London, but I dislike the visual indicator of the grading system. You have to go up to each route to determine what V grade it is. Back home, we had coloured tape marking on each route to indicate the grade. There was more slab than overhang but there was a generous number of routes. There are shoes for sale and for rental. I borrowed the gyms liquid chalk as I didn’t travel with any. The biggest pro is how late it stays open!
