Excel Shop has been great to work with. Clare has helped with getting the correct color stain for my cabinet doors and has made several trips to make it perfect. No other company would go the lengths they go for their customers. Extremely happy with how everything has turned out. Definitely give them a call for any furniture restoration jobs.

Excel is full of people with amazing knowledge of refinishing, preserving, and repair work of antique as well as modern furniture. They also handle upholstery and caning as well and do an amazing job. I also refinish furniture and I trust them completely as I have partnered with them on several client jobs of my own. I highly recommend them to my clients if I am unable to help them. I don't just recommend anyone, I only recommend Excel! Their years of expertise and care for their clients is what makes them shine!

The team recently tackled a 120-year-old fireplace mantle, stripped off all the old paint, then refinished it. It looks amazing now. I can only imagine how gorgeous it must have looked brand new back in the early 1900s, but this restoration is about as close as it gets. Really happy to see this old piece brought back to life like that!

Awesome work !!! I had purchased this table in a vintage shop. Thinking I would strip it. The job had several layers of paint that proved to be too big of a project for me. The piece looks brand new after restoration. The people at the company were good at identifying the type of wood we found.
