The Fairmount community and beyond is so lucky to have this school join the neighborhood. All of the staff pours their hearts and souls into caring for the little ones. Because it is a start up, everyone from the teachers/staff/parents/ children truly treat each other like family. The space itself is warm and inviting. It creates an environment for kids to be imaginative, creative, independent and encouraged to learn. Unlike some Montessori’s, it is true to the principles and practices of the Montessori method. Everything is crafted with the intention of building a strong foundation for the children to be confident in their skills in both life and learning. Allowing them to thrive at an early age. It also offers unique education you won’t find in traditional schools that expands a child’s horizon. I love how the kids get to learn about subjects such as nature, the seasons, where food comes from and how it’s grown, cooking, art, yoga and brings in people from the local community to share their crafts and areas of expertise. I highly recommend this as an option for early childhood education. It is such a sweet and special place!

We are grateful for Fairmount Montessori’s community. It is welcoming to our daughter and our family. We trust the teachers and founders. Our daughter feels safe to learn and grow. We feel included and welcomed to be engaged with the school!

My grandson is a student at Fairmount Montessori. We love the family forward aspect of the school. Ms Emily brings a calm leadership to her staff and to her students that I appreciate. My grandson is happy and safe.

We absolutely love our teachers and fellow Fairmount school mates. Ms. Emily is a dream come true and are kids have been excited to go to school everyday since we’ve started! Definitely recommend.
