Outstanding! Solid Neopolitan style. This was the Diovola. Super thin crust, pillowy/light/airy cornicione. The tomatoes, basil and cheese all tasted fresh..the mini slices of chilli peppers gave just enough heat that didn't linger very long. Ceaser salad was delicious. As was my gelato scoops and limoncello.

The gluten-free pizza was overpriced 💸, containing minimal ingredients like cheese and a small amount of meat. This establishment exploits dietary restrictions 😠. One can find superior, more economical options elsewhere 💰. The value proposition is severely lacking 👎. You can find much cheaper places to eat

Fatto a Mano in Covent Garden feels like one of those places where food naturally brings everyone together. We ended up ordering a bit of everything and sharing it around the table, which felt exactly right for the space and the mood. The atmosphere is warm and lively, with an open kitchen and shelves of wine in the background — busy, but in a comforting, “let’s stay a bit longer” way. The pizza was the obvious crowd-pleaser. Soft, pillowy crust with those lovely charred edges, topped generously and clearly made to be eaten fresh and fast. We also shared a bubbling baked dish straight from the oven — rich tomato sauce, melted cheese, and fresh basil on top — perfect with thick slices of toasted bread soaked in olive oil. Simple, messy, and very satisfying. The starters were ideal for sharing too. Crispy arancini with plenty of grated cheese on top disappeared quickly, especially dipped into the punchy tomato sauce. There was also a big, fresh salad with crunchy croutons and marinated artichokes that balanced out all the indulgence nicely. Drinks came and went easily — spritzes, soft drinks, refills without fuss — and the staff kept everything moving while still feeling relaxed and friendly. Overall, Fatto a Mano feels less like a formal meal and more like a casual get-together over really good Italian food. The kind of place you go with friends, share plates, talk loudly, and leave very full and very happy.

Chill place with really good pizzas. We particularly liked the pesto and butternut squash one as a detour from the usual red sauce pizzas (which were great as well). Decent salads as well, crisp and well dressed. But the pizza is the star. They were all served hot, perfect amount of blistering and charring on the crust and the dough was chewy and tasty. Toppings were perfectly distributed and did not overwhelm the pizza dough. And the toppings were all great quality and freshness. Desserts were ok. Servers were at times inattentive, especially if it got a little crowded and one of them didn’t bother waiting for us to request tap water before he popped open a bottle of still water for our table. Other than that, lovely staff.

Difficult rating for me to give. I really liked Fatto a Mano: The service was great and the place is lively with great energy. The menu is terrific with a great selection of pizzas and appetizers, as well as a good little wine list. All with very reasonable prices. The ingredients were fresh and amazing - look at those pictures! The dough…. It was indeed pillowy and soft - around the outside only. It was great! Scrape the topics from the middle on to it and enjoy! The middle? Thin and soggy…. I would’ve love a full thick, soft and pillowy crust. Maybe just an outlier from the kitchen? I’ll definitely be back and give them another try!
