I was surprised when I walked into this store and asked for copies. This store is in downtown, just blocks away from the court, which is a prime location for copy, mailing, and shipping services. I walked in and was told there is a surcharge of $2.50. This means you have to pay a privilege tax for using this service. I will be avoiding this store in the future. Better to have bills to make copies at the court for 25 cents, which does not charge a privilege tax like this store did.
If you know how to work a copy machine and printer (that's a big IF) you will love the self-service area here. Pay with tap card and print from email or USB without speaking to anyone or waiting in line! Bonus: free pens, highlighters and paper clips.
If you have to copy or print or download anything, be sure you know exactly how to do it because you won't get any help from the very rude staff. They can't be bothered, and they let you know it. Customers are treated like nuisances. I used to work near here years ago and things were much different. I think it's time for a shake-up.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I left this place in literal tears this morning. The treatment I received from Demi was truly upsetting. I had paid online to have 13 pages printed, not realizing the order was set for a 12 PM pickup. When I politely asked if she could print it earlier, something that has been done for me before without issue, she made it very clear I was an inconvenience. Actually, I was an inconvenience the moment I had anything to say. Rather than letting me know if early printing wasn't allowed, she rolled her eyes and shook her head. This was not the first time I’ve left feeling this way after interacting with her, but I previously brushed it off and even tried to smile and joke with her to see if she would warm up. Today, however, it was too much. I even called afterward to explain how her behavior made me feel. This store was closest to me and made it easy to print things I needed for class but I will no longer come to this store. There is also a young man there who doesn't seem to care about customer service. I hope managers look into this further. Demi needs a new job because she clearly hates this one.
Been here twice now. Once when it was relatively busy and the most recent time I was the only customer here. Both times customer service was terrible. I kept having issues with the self service machine and had to ask for help. Each time the staff acted very inconvenienced and would give minimal instruction, walk away, only to leave me experiencing additional problems. Very frustrating experiences here. I also noticed they are currently selling Easter candy from 8-9 months ago. Disgusting.
