We have been buying their sparkling wine from food markets. So we decided to visit them in person. What a lovely experience,with great knowledgeable people. Great place,great wine.
What a truly lovely day. We signed up for the wine tour and were not disappointed. Beautiful weather set against the backdrop of over 3000 vines. Despite having toured vineyards in America and France we learnt more about the process involved from soil to bottle than ever before. Fenny Castle is clearly a labour of love as well as a commercial endeavour. Finished off with a tasting of a white, a rose and sparkling all of which would grace any table. We hope to sign up to help with the late harvest in October. Well done Bella the chocolate Lab for leading the way. Our Bottle of Sparkling is chilling as we write this.
Jul25- honesty box style shop front. It's not clear when you get there but you're expected to call the number to deal with someone. I knocked on the door for service. Good wine range, small red batch and plenty of rosé and white and fizz. Some cider from local orchards. Friendly and not too expensive. Nice to buy local
I came with my partner for the Vineyard tour and wine tasting and it was incredible! James was brilliantly knowledgeable, answered all our questions and really went into detail about the whole winemaking process. However, it was during the wine tasting section that James was really in his element. His absolute passion for his craft showed through and it was such a delightful experience. It also helped that the wines we tasted were phenomenal! I highly recommend this if you're even remotely nearby
I organised a private tour and wine tasting for my friends Hen do this weekend - did not disappoint! We all had a great time trying 3 of Fenny Castles most popular wines (and ended up taking home a few bottles too!). We had a brilliant tour of the vineyard and it was clear the owners were knowledgable and loved what they did! Absolutely would recommend for anyone wanting to visit and try wine from this lovely small family run business.
