I would not recommend Ferguson to anyone. Quick summary: terrible communication, felt like we were begging Ferguson to do business with us, constantly told one thing and then something different on the next phone call, no response to emails, and left the interaction with no trust in this company. We had a leak and water was coming into our house every time it rained. Ferguson installed our roof (previous owner) so because we were still under warranty, we called them. It took a few weeks and an attempted appointment cancellation to finally get someone here to look at it. That person took one look and said not the roof, it’s the siding. Then that person left Ferguson and after not hearing back for weeks and weeks we finally got ahold of someone who told us a new project manager would need to come out and give their opinion. Uhhhh ok? New person comes out, doesn’t even get on the roof. Just looks at it from the ground and says yep it’s the siding. Blah blah blah we end up getting a quote a few months later after dealing with even another PM from Ferguson and because of the cost (Ferguson said they don’t patch repair siding - they have to fully tear down and replace the entire wall of siding), we decided to go with a diffferent company. They come and do a siding repair and the leak is still happening. We call Ferguson back and after a few more PM’s come out to look at it, we get a quote for a full repair and decide to move forward. For a timeline, we are 9/10 months from the first phone call. We are told that if we pay the deposit for the work, it will be ordered and someone will call us the next day to schedule. Well we pay the deposit and nothing. Sooooo many calls back to Ferguson, then told they would call us when the materials come in to schedule. Weeks pass and nothing. Finally get ahold of someone who actually has the authority to schedule and we get it done. Well guess what - the entire wall of siding was torn down and replaced and what do you know the leak is still occurring! Calls and calls and emails and emails begging someone to come take a look. Finally get ANOTHER PM out and he tells us he’s going to take a look. Comes back inside and says the siding looks perfect so he took off a few roof shingles just to try to find the leak and then reattached the same shingles more securely. Well what do you know - the leak stopped! After almost 11 months of countless phone calls and project managers coming out swearing it is a siding problem, we spent ~$2,000 to just have a few shingles moved around on a roof with a warranty. I seriously would go with any other company than Ferguson. One more note, if you’re still reading, during this back and forth their AR department was also emailing me repeatedly saying I owe them money for the completed job (lol). I replied to every email saying the work was not done and was never once contacted to discuss further.

STAY AWAY! Ferguson Roofing = BAD workmanship. We contracted with Hoffman Brothers Plumbing to complete some sewer repairs. Don’t look away! This is actually about Ferguson Roofing. Hoffman backed their box truck into the corner of our roof on 11/12. (We also had another problem with that project but that’s another review.) When the manager came to the site to see both things he said that Hoffman Brothers owned Ferguson Roofing and they’d be right out to fix it. Here's the SHORT VERSION: The roofing crews did an extremely poor job. The corner of the roof is pitched up at a slant so water on the corner drips down the side of the garage rather than into the gutter. The material at the corner join of the gutter is not connected correctly and will allow water to get behind it against the house. Thirty feet of gutter guards were removed and not replaced. The gutter is crooked. The downspout extender was destroyed and not replaced. Metal shavings were left in the landscaping, which they stomped all over, and shavings and screws left in the driveway. They removed the 30 feet of gutter they left in our driveway leaving it there for two days. Hoffman won't return our call. Here's the rest of the story: When the manager came to the site to see the hiccup and the roof damage he said that Hoffman owned Ferguson Roofing and they’d be right out to assess and correct the damage. I told him I’d had a very bad experience with Ferguson Roofing. I contracted with them in September 2024 to repair the very same corner of the roof which had been damaged when a delivery truck backed into it. I signed a contract with Ferguson Roofing and had to pay a deposit. They said they’d order material and it would be a couple of week. A couple of weeks went by with no word so I called them. Material not in, they couldn’t tell me when it would be in. Repeat that until after a couple of months with no end in sight I demanded the contract be canceled and my money returned. After finally having to threaten use of a lawyer, they returned the deposit and canceled the contract. Another roofing contractor completed the repairs within a couple of weeks. I wanted to give Hoffman Brothers the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe they had gotten Ferguson in better order. I should have called my insurance company and insisted on the use of a contractor of my choice. You’d think after a company has run into your roof they might have a sense of urgency about getting started on repair. A project manager came out late the next day AFTER we called to ask what was going on. He said he’d order the material and schedule the repair. A couple of weeks later, on 12/2, someone from Ferguson Roofing showed up at the house and said a crew would be there to start on the repair. We had 5 inches of snow on the roof. The crew didn’t show up and he left. No communication with us about the schedule. The crew did show up the next day and just started working. I went out to find out what the plan was because of the snow and cold. They couldn’t tell me what they were going to get done. They also tramped all over our L-shaped roof in places far from the damage. I called the Project Manager, he said he thought they were going to do all the work that day (which was repair the roof corner, replace the material behind the gutter, replace the gutter, the gutter guards and downspouts) but they would be replacing the gutter the next day. They left the 30 ft of gutter laying in the driveway. No one showed up the next day. No communication from the company. I contacted the Project Manager and he said they’d be out the next day. A crew showed up the next day at 330p. Came and went without a word. See the short version at the start for results! It took us getting up on a ladder to see the work, which we could do on 12/7. I called Hoffman early on 12/8 and asked for someone to call me right away. No call back. They damaged my roof, did a crappy repair and can't be bothered to call me back.

The work hasn’t been performed yet, due to lack of communication on the behalf of company. The material was dropped off on my front lawn last week without any notice for delivery. Once, I called about that, they apologized and set up appointment for that Saturday, a man was on my lawn looking at the material and also no uniform, he didn’t knock on my door, no identification and was in a raggedy truck with no signage on it and last he didn’t speak English. It rained overnight and the material is just in my front yard. I still don’t have an exact date and time for installation. I’m very disappointed in the treatment that I am receiving. I’m more than sure that they are not vetting their sub contractors.

ATTENTION!!!! Beware find another company. I am a new home owner and had storm damage to my roof. Hire Ferguson Roof for complete replacement. Workers were lead off by police due to them not getting permits needed. Left all equipment in my yard for hours, took literally 6 days to complete my roof. My home was down to the layout stuff for 6 days. The owner, no one called had empathy for the embarrassment I face. Once was done sent an incorrect invoice, wouldn’t have talked to any one had I not called. Do not hold up to the policy statement. Again 6 days bare roof and NO EMPATHY. Please find someone else because how they treated me was awful. Also you can do what they did go by Home Depot and find some guys 🤦‍♀️
