I chose FLA as I wanted an independent fiduciary that wasn't a one person office or a large firm where I was just a number. This was a number of years ago that I started working with them. They have provided excellent financial and estate guidance. The investments are based on the risk profile I have. They are available to answer email or phone questions. We do have meetings, face to face or electronic, at key times during the year to discuss investments, taxes and other financial topics. l am glad I found this firm to work with and highly recommend them.

I met with Ben Gurwitz from FLA during a very difficult time in my life. My husband had just died in May of 2018 and I was unsure how to proceed forward with my taxes, insurance, savings, investments and life etc. I was looking for guidance…a financial planner..so I shopped around for a while without success. It wasn’t until November of the same year that I met with Ben. I immediately noticed it was a totally different experience from other financial life planner’s I had met with. Ben proceeded to explain what I needed to do in a timely fashion and what I could hold off on until I felt more comfortable making future life decisions. Hearing that was a great relief. He also discussed the different types of services they offered that I could change later if I chose to. I felt like I had options that weren’t written in stone…because as I stated before, this wasn’t the time to be making big changes in my life and he understood. I believe it was the trust that sold me at that point. It has always been a big deal for me and I felt that with FLA almost immediately. It’s been seven years now and along with Ben I have met some wonderful people. Mandi… who is always there when ya need help, my trust attorney David, and my accountant. They all work hand-in-hand with Ben making it easier to keep everything in a bundle and my life on track. We've been with FLA for at least 6 years now. They have guided us through decisions about early retirement, homebuilding, estate planning, insurance, taxes, business development, and Medicare. In fact, they've initiated the contact, several times when their notes indicated it might be important! Our FLA advisor gives us Peace of Mind, that someone has our back. I highly recommend them!
