I have a home that has a Mansard roof. I did not realize that Mansard roofs are NOT installed like just any old roof and neither, unfortunately, did the first roofing crew that replaced it. It failed miserably and quickly. I had originally gotten an estimate from 5 Star that I turned down. They had pointed out in their estimate that Mansards need special treatment; so naturally the price was higher. Yeah - I cheaped out - and yeah you get what you pay for. So they came out looked it over, estimated just the repairs needed with guarantees (They did not make me eat crow either). When they did the work -they were in and out, neat and professional, as I knew they would be. They are a very good outfit – I highly recommend them. (PS Try to get Rick to do your estimate: He’s good people and he knows his business).

We had Five Star build a new garage for us. Did a GREAT job! We love it, and we have had MANY great comments on it, and people ask who did it. And because they did such a great job, we then had them re-side our house. Turned out great! And again lots of great comments from neighbors. Five-star is great to work with from the planning stages, offering suggestions but not overdoing it. Their work teams are great, and the management of the teams is great, too! I would especially call out Emily, Brian, and Joe! Next up will be the roof!

Why should you hire Five Star to install your new roof? Not only are they easy to work with, but they are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and communication was spot on. Most importantly, you get a quality job when it’s complete. A project foreman is on site at all times. As a female homeowner, they really took the time to make sure all the finishing touches were cosmetically what I asked for. Did I mention that cleanup was thorough? Big shout out to Rick who answered all of my questions (I had a lot of questions because I had interviewed so many companies). He was extremely responsive and ensured I was completely happy with the project when they were done.

Not only were they incredibly knowledgeable, professional, timely which is what most people seek in their contractors but they were also kind and understanding of my unique situation and the complexities that it brought to their work.
