I had high hopes for the period exhibition and was very disappointed. If the point of the exhibit was to bring awareness about period poverty, they missed the mark. There was no placard or even a pamphlet to give out that highlights period poverty in SA and a few pieces you couldn’t even tell were about menstruation. I think this could have been an incredible showcase to empower people about periods and raise awareness but it seemed thrown together and not well thought out.

What a brilliant space! Such an inclusive vibe, great friendly artists and invigilators - if you want to support local, emerging and vibrant arts community in Adelaide get down to a free opening and have a cheap bevvie and buy some work + it felt amazing to be included and find an ARI that reminded me so much of home in Melbourne.

A fantastic blank canvas for a vast range of contemporary exhibitions. Located ideally within the CBD, Floating Goose is host to many new ideas and encourage a nice community vice in their studio spaces. My experience there is very limited, so I can't speak from the creators standpoint in the Studios. But as an exhibition goer, I would say it's definitely worth checking out an exhibition that's on. Keep an eye out for this space.
