Shannan was absolutely amazing! She was incredibly knowledgeable and so much fun to be around. We even signed up for the membership because it was such a fun experience! Highly highly highly recommend coming here!! The wine is fantastic:)
We really enjoyed our visit and the wine tasting. The owner who served us was very enjoyable to talk to and made our visit very pleasant. Well worth a visit.
We came with another couple to do some wine tasting, and this was our first time at Flying Leap. We went with the 6 sampler wine tasting and was told that it would be 6 one ounce pours. What we were given was maybe 1/2 ounce pours. Being retired military we asked if there were any discounts. We were told yes, but upon check out we were informed it was for bottles of wine only not samplers. The staff and the atmosphere was okay, but the price of $26.00 per person was not worth what we received. I will say that the two dogs running around were very friendly!! I cant see us going back there, as there are other Vineyards in the local area to visit.
As a frequent visitor to the Oro Valley area I’ve always been told to visit AZ wine country. We’ll this trip we made it happen! We searched a few places; however, visiting on a Tuesday not many places were open but thank goodness Flying Leap was. Luckily we found Flying Leap and Mark was exceptionally accommodating and gave us a private tasting of both the wines and spirits. Every single wine was made from their own vineyards and Mark knew every detail about each one of them. All the spirits were also unique mix from leftover wine batches or lavender picked on site, all of them were incredible. As a military spouse I also look to support any veteran owned businesses and Mark and his business partners are all retired Air Force pilots who used their GI bill to fulfill a lifelong dream to make wine and man did they nail it! If you are in the southern Arizona area looking for wine or spirits, this is a must stop!! If I could rate it 10 stars I would. Thank you Mark for showing this Minnesota family a fantastic day in wine country!
Quit asking me to join your wine club, I said “No” four times! I just left this winetasting room and the customer service is grossly lacking. I had to pull the information out of the woman who was obviously disinterested in helping us. When one goes wine-tasting,, one expects to be educated on the wines. The only Conversation the woman was willing to talk about was joining the wine club. Otherwise expect to be brushed off. Unfortunately we had already ordered a couple of flights and I bought a bottle of wine because I was in a pinch to buy a gift this evening. I would not recommend this place, I will continue to patron Arizona Wine Collective at Saint Philip‘s Plaza. At least there they treat the customer with dignity and respect, and the prices are much better.

Sip, savor, and admire – where veteran-crafted wines meet local artistry in Tucson.
