Food was solid. Drinks were great. Bartender was legit, friendly, and poured heavy. We were there for a premier league game, great spot to watch any kind of sports though. Tons of tvs. The breakfast potatoes were so so good.
This is a business I’d previously seen on social media, and I wanted to visit. It was an enjoyable experience! The design, layout and theme of the establishment is captivating and unique. You’ll find British and futbal (soccer) influence and memorabilia throughout. It’s close enough to downtown Nashville (off Lafayette near City Winery) to experience it as well as see the views, but it’s not on Broadway street which is refreshing as Broadway can sometimes be difficult to navigate with the amount of traffic and congestion (vehicles and people). Although limited, free parking is available as well as paid parking. There are two levels with the first level being a dining area for food and a bar. We didn’t order food. TVs are throughout the establishment. An elevator or stairs can be taken to the rooftop where it offers great views of downtown, opportunities to play games like corn hole and curling and/or socialize. Another bar is also available. Currently, heated cabins can be rented due to the winter season in addition to available firepits. The customer service was great from walking in on the first level, being greeted and directed to then hearing more about the business from Andrea. Andrea was knowledgable, funny and relatable as she notified us about different features and services offered like live music on stage on the rooftop during the summer typically. She also stated the establishment is available to host events too. I was definitely pleased and will certainly return. Thank you all!
We had dinner @ Fogg Street Lawn Club last night, it was phenomenal, probably the best meal we’ve had at a restaurant in a very long time. I had the fish & chips and my husband had the hot chicken sandwich. You could tell everything was made onsite & not frozen from Cisco. The fish was golden crispy batter fried & so good. The tartar sauce was fresh & made on site, if you’re a curry fan get a side of curry for your fish. My husband said his chicken sandwich was actually a whole chicken breast & he had the Mac & cheese which was also amazing! We had the shepherds pie & roasted Brussel sprouts as appetizers and again, so unbelievably good! I wish I’d had room for dessert but no chance. After dinner it just kept getting better, their roof top is definitely the nicest roof top bar/lounge of everyplace we were at in Nashville. We had a great evening & enjoyed the band! Not a single complaint or suggestion.
ROOFTOP IS AWESOME, RESTAURANT IS OKAY. We ate dinner in the pub before a concert on the rooftop. We all agreed food was okay but not great. It is a pub so we didn't have high expectations but we were still hoping for a bit better than what we experienced. Reuben was good and th best thing we ordered. Fish and chips were mediocre. Fish was dry and outside batter was mushy. Didn't come out hot. Caesar salad with chicken was okay. Nachos okay. Pretzel had a slightly strange taste. Overall not terrible but could be better. Restaurant was clean and had a good vibe so it has potential. The highlight was the rooftop. Large bar and awesome view of the skyline. Would definitely go back even if there was no band playing.
Saw their inaugural rooftop show with Big Head Todd and the Monsters last week. Great atmosphere and sound, drink prices were very reasonable for Nashville (compared to the venues on Broadway), and very cool views of the city. I'll make the trip down from Indianapolis again!
