great dog training experience! The trainer had a great way of explaining the fundamentals clearly and effectively. They gave us some really helpful tips on working with our dog, making training feel achievable. We're excited to continue with the rest of the program and see how our dog improves. Highly recommend for anyone looking to improve their dog's behavior!
We got our rottie from Fon’s Canines and came back for their training! Maddie was wonderfully supportive and gave very clear instructions. She was very supportive in teaching us how to improve our communication with our puppy. Prior to training, our rottie would pull at anything interesting to her. By the end of the 6 week course, our puppy was able to sit, stay, and have much better leash manners. If you are struggling with distraction and need a place to build foundations, we cannot recommend Fon’s enough!

I can’t say enough good things about Fon’s Canine!! We came from another trainer who unfortunately made my dog’s anxiety and paranoia so much worse. My heart broke seeing him so on edge all the time, and I honestly started to lose hope that he’d ever feel calm or confident again. From the very first email with Fon’s Canine, I could tell it was going to be different. Fon and his teams communication, compassion, and understanding made me feel very at ease. We started with one-on-one sessions, and felt we finally had the tools we needed to help my pup. Before working with Fon, my dog couldn’t handle loud noises, other dogs, or even trust me to protect him. Now, he’s like a completely different dog!! calmer, happier, and so much more confident. Watching him relax and just be a dog again has been the most rewarding thing ever. We’ve now joined one of Fon’s group classes, and we’ve been so pleased with everything being taught even though we just started. It’s been amazing to see my dog continue to grow and learn around other dogs in a supportive environment. Fon’s Canine has truly been a lifesaver for both of us. If you’re struggling with a reactive or anxious dog and feel like nothing’s working, please give them a try, i truly couldn’t recommend them enough.
Our 5 month old Doberman puppy had issues with reacting horribly to any dog in her sight. Walking was a nightmare. 1st 1 hour session with Fon and not only was she walking and stopping when I said so, Fon also brought out some dogs for us to pass by. I was more nervous than the pup at this point but WoW she barely noticed them. Took a few tugs but after the 2nd time EVEN CLOSER to a strange dog she sailed by not even a whimper. Fon explained we were gonna make her feel safe so no need to go ballistic @stranger danger and it work! I asked what she needed now, He said I should do one more individual then group. Yay! Honestly at 150. A lesson is Soooo worth it. We found this lil girl wandering in the desert near palm springs. She was underweight, diarrhea and vomiting and scared of everything. We imagined a coyote was stalking her. But she is on her way to being awesome dog I know she can be. I am very please with Fons style and communication I understand. Well done Sir!
