This is my second tour with foodie tours, AND I WOULD DEFINITELY REBOOK AGAIN. Each tour offers a a variety of cuisines, and food was delicious. Coffee workshop EXCELLENT. Your guises knowledgeable. Our very own tour guide Daniel was AMAZING! If you're reading this review this is a sign to book with foodie tours and you won’t regret it!

Fully recommended as a great way to try distinct and interesting offerings of Costa Rican cuisine from different restaurants off of the beaten path. Great guides that pair gastronomic and local knowledge with great service and likable personality for an all-around amazing time.

I can’t say enough great things about this tour. I wish I could give it 10 stars! The food was incredible, voluminous, and diverse. Adriana was generous with her time and knowledge about local cuisine and farm to table sustainability. She’s also an excellent photographer and took several great photos of our group. Thank you, Adriana!!!

The tour was a delicious and fun way to spend a day! We met Adriana at 12pm and toured until 6pm - eating, drinking, talking, learning, and laughing. All of the restaurants, bars and cafes we visited were both beautiful and delicious. I would recommend friends to visit them all. Adriana has curated strong relationships and scoped out the best places in the city for interesting takes on classic Costa Rican ingredients. I wish we had done the tour at the beginning of the trip so I had a better understanding of the ingredients and dishes I would experience in Costa Rica. However, I would recommend the tour to anyone, at any point in their visit to San Jose. One of my favorite parts of the tour was the addition of workshops along the way. The coffee workshop included multiple demonstrations of how to brew pour over coffee with an expert barista. He also taught us all about the growing, processing, and distribution of coffee in Costa Rica today and historically. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, The tour ended with a cocktail workshop, where we got to go behind the bar and make 4 different unique cocktails. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves to eat or explore a city in a unique way!
