The food was great! The server tried to keep up with tables and the bar which was to much for one person. Traveling through it was much much slower service than expected especially for $150 for dinner for two. P.S. The owners answer is that they are not there to "rush" diners experience. This service was not just slow. The server was obviously overwhelmed, constantly apologized, and forgot items. Slow was putting the service we received nicely.
Took my wife here for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. Great atmosphere, excellent service and even better steaks. Also the desserts were delicious. A friend of mine supplies their beef from his ranch in Glen Rose, which made the experience even better.
This was our first time visiting. We went for our anniversary. It was incredible. We ordered the ribeye, the salmon, an extra side of mushrooms, the banana pudding and a couple of drinks. The ribeye was cooked to perfection medium rare and it had so much flavor. The salmon was flaky soft and the skin had a delicious grilled taste. The mushrooms had tasted like nuggets of heaven. We didnt think it could get better but Chloe turned us onto the banana pudding!! The best pudding hands down!! More like a creamy custard! Please try this place out. You will not regret it. The service was so welcoming and they made sure we were happy! Their cocktail maple bourbon something was really really tasty. And my chardonnay was a wonderful pairing recommendation by Teri! A simple menu was just that simply amazing. Thank you for making our night extra special! We will be back, especially for lunch!
The atmosphere was great. The place had a nice eclectic style with a touch of refinement. The service was friendly and spot on. This place is truly a hidden gem. We went out to lunch and we are so glad we stumbled upon this place. The food is amazing. We had their brisket lunch special with broccolini and potato au gratin. The sides were tasty and the brisket was so juicy and tender. It was a MEAN brisket and it came along with a bourbon cream that really put the brisket at a different level of excellence. Tony the owner was also very friendly and even gave us a history of his journey. I totally recommend this place. There is so much competition in this area but for the price and atmosphere Fort Redemption is hard to beat.
Originally on our list but expedited after a friend's referral with glowing reviews. Dish 1: a 16oz ribeye with mashed spuds and an extra side of asparagus. Dish 2: rack of lamb with mushrooms. Desserts: banana pudding and flan. The ribeye was seasoned to perfection with bourbon cream sauce which is a supercool combination. For the record, the ribeye easily stood on its own as one of the best and somehow this bourbon cream still found a way to lift this high quality protein a notch. The rack if lamb was no traditional lamb, its Texas seasoned and fire grilled. Move aside you amateurs as this rack of lamb is fit for the gods. Paired with either the red wine demi or bourbon cream sauce. Red wine demi for tradition, but branch out as the bourbon cream successfully elevates the lamb further than its traditional red wine partner. The made in-house desserts are fantastic. These treats will soften the hardest critics of post meal indulgences. The service is some of the best you will encounter in Fort Worth. They know the menu, they know the processes, they know the flavors, and they know the textures. What are you waiting for? You will not be disappointed in any way!
