Our guides hand select your horse for you, I assume based on weight. But I think mine was based on personality, because my horse Starling and I were made for each other. I wanted to take her home with me. She was full of personality. I got her to gallop for me a few times too. We had a blast and I highly recommend this experience when you come to the stockyards.
Pretty awesome area to check out if you haven’t already! Plenty of shopping places and food options, beautiful animals to see! $10 cash to get on the longhorn to take a photo with it! They have a petting zoo. Definitely family friendly! Amazing experience to see the cattle walking the street, started exactly at 4pm! I highly recommend checking it out! My family and I will be back! Next time to try out some yummy food!
My niece and I booked the trail ride while we visited Ft. Worth in mid-May. The booking process was simple and the team onsite were all helpful and very friendly! We only wish we could have ridden longer! Great option if you’re looking for something fun to do while visiting. Highly recommend!
We were visiting the Stockyards yesterday and walked by the horses and stopped to inquire if it was guided rides. The wrangler was very nice and informative and we decided to sign up. My sister and I both have our own horses but riding in the Stockyards and by the Trinity was a unique experience and totally worth it. I plan on doing it again with my friends someday, I think it would make a fun friend get together!
