Fortunada Winery is hands-down one of the best hidden gems in North Texas. The outdoor experience alone is worth the trip — beautiful scenery, tons of space to relax, and the kind of peaceful vibe that makes you want to stay all afternoon. Their wood-fired pizzas are incredible and pair perfectly with their wine selection. We’ve tried several, but the “Painted Lady” stands out as one of our absolute favorites — smooth, flavorful, and the perfect pour to enjoy on their patio. If you’re looking for great wine, great food, and a great atmosphere, Fortunada never disappoints. Highly recommend! 🍕🍷🌿
We visited Fortunata Winery today to celebrate a friend’s birthday and had a great time. The charcuterie board was lovely, and both the Tuscany Chicken and Margherita pizzas were delicious—the dough was perfect. The rosé web was good. Loved the live music and the relaxed vibe. Sherry, the owner, was pleasant and charming. We’ll definitely be back!
A fantastic independent winery with beautiful Italian style villas for rent from 1 bedroom to 3 or more bedroom homes (one has its own swimming pool) on the property. The perfect little getaway for romance or a girls weekend. They have live music every weekend and multiple areas available to reserve for private parties. There are no waitstaff in the general seating areas, so you purchase your wine at the inside counter. They also serve brick oven pizza with a family secret crust recipe dating back generations and serve dessert pizzas as well. A lovely winery about 45 minutes from the city of Dallas.
My first time here and it was such a fantastic experience. The food (Tuscany Chicken Pizza) and wine were perfection. I actually spilled my entire order on the floor and Mr. Kelby the owner graciously replaced my Pizza for free. He also came by to check on our large-ish group to make sure we were having a good time. The ambience with the live band is really nice. I will be returning often to this gem. Thank you to friendly and courteous staff who took our orders, pictures and let me taste wine .
Food was really good. We got two different pizzas; the pesto one and the chicken one. Both anazing. Dough was top notch. Service was great. The location was also awesome. Very cool and cozy. The only reason for a 3 was the wine. Very middle of the road nothing special. When I go to a winery I expect exceptional wine. Very mid wine to be honest.
