My favorite Asian restaurant in lower Greenville. They have a great selection of juicy dumplings, all the classic Chinese dishes, and everything tastes authentic with high quality.
Went here just for the pork soup dumplings. They are amazing! Fresh hot, but not too hot. Spices just right and the dough steamed perfect. The staff is attentive and I loved they filled our water regularly; we never had an empty glass. We also had lettuce wraps and they were delicious. We got a quarter of fresh iceberg lettuce head but it didn't hold up well with the top notch filling. We also had General Tso's. It was the right kind of heat and crispy. I have tried the orange chicken but General Tso's is much better. I can't wait to go back for more dumplings! PS make reservations
We ordered the beef chow fun, dumpling sampler, beef noodle soup, spicy beef noodle soup, and Yangzhou fried rice. Overall, the food quality was decent. The biggest disappointment was the beef chow fun. The beef wasn’t very tender, and the rice noodles were clumped together instead of being nicely separated. I actually enjoyed the dumplings quite a bit especially the original pork and vegetable ones. They were very juicy, well-seasoned, and tasted very similar to what I’ve had in China. The other colored dumplings had a different flavor profile that I’m not quite used to. While the fillings were still juicy, the taste wasn’t really to my preference. Both the beef noodle soup and the spicy beef noodle soup were solid choices. The broth was flavorful, the noodles had a nice, authentic texture, and I appreciated that the spicy version didn’t hold back on the heat and it definitely had a good kick. I do wish the Yangzhou fried rice had more wok hei for that smoky depth of flavor. On the plus side, the prices are surprisingly reasonable considering this is downtown Dallas. Overall, it was a good dining experience.
Such an amazing place for some really good Chinese. Their handmade dumplings are a must try as well as their spicy string beans. Portions are pretty big so you’ll likely leave with leftovers which is never a bad thing!
This place was so cool and gives off Chinese restaurant vibes but modernized and chic. Love the interior and exterior. Food was pretty good but a bit salty for my taste. My friend and I was in the area and got hungry so we stopped by here. Service was great! We ordered the orange beef, general tsao chicken, bok choy, and fried gyoza. Not too bad for Americanized Chinese food. Definitely check it out. If I’m in the area, I would come back. Great for small and large groups! Better for bigger parties. Definitely a vibe. Till then, let’s eat!
