How lucky are we to have this little piece of heaven in our city. Biking, hiking, paddling and more Fort Whyte is a joy to explore. We highly recommend renting a boat and getting out on the water. What a treat!

Fortwhyte is so great to take a little run. Just arrive before 4:30 when gates to Bison Butte close. I'm a member bit there is no cost to come in via the paths and run through.

Opens from 9 am to 6 pm during summer, too hot for any birds or Bison to be out in viewing distance. The visitor center is very poorly equipped, no drinking water!!! We were directed to the washroom taps for drinking water, so much for COVID awareness and precautions. It was a total waste of time

Excellent place to go with kids and also the restaurant inside. The bison poutine was very delicious 😋 outside the trail is very nice for runners and biking

Beautiful bike ride. The bike rentals are $10/hr or $15/2hrs. Nice bikes, they are smooth and they have a basket in the front. Nice and courteous staffs. Cafe is clean with a delicious and affordable menu.
