My Honest Experience with Forward Furniture Selecting the Couch: (5 STARS) The in-store experience was actually great. The staff member assisting us was very friendly, patient, and never rushed us while we were deciding. We even added an ottoman that wasn’t part of the original set, and they were able to order it in for us with an estimated four-week wait. We placed our order during the last week of August. Shipping: (3 STARS) This is where things got a bit disappointing. Instead of the expected 4 weeks, we waited a total of 7 weeks before our sofa finally arrived at their warehouse. There were no updates or apologies for the delay. Delivery: (3 STARS) The delivery experience really needs improvement. The two delivery guys looked like amateurs (almost like this was just a side gig). No safety gear, no gloves, no proper shoes, and very limited knowledge on how to handle furniture properly. My husband and I even had to help lift the couch because the two of them couldn’t manage it on their own. In the end, they gave up trying to bring the couch inside and left it in our garage. They even advised us to remove our window or door jamb to get the couch in. My husband and I were able to bring it in ourselves after watching a few YouTube tutorials—something the delivery team should have known how to do. Overall: No apology for the delays or the delivery issues, which was disappointing. BUT the couch itself is great quality. Their products come from Ashley Furniture Manufacturing (same supplier as Ashley HomeStore), but Forward Furniture offers more affordable pricing, which is a big plus.

I purchased the Olivia Cabinet Bed from Forward Furniture based on details from their website and advertisements shown on Facebook. If you are looking to purchase this cabinet bed PLEASE READ. I purchased this bed and set it up a few days ago. The bed overall is of decent quality but the advertisements from Forward Furniture are not correct as follows: The advertisements say that: 1) The bed is made of solid wood. This is not true. The bed my have a hardwood finish but the inside of each piece of wood is engineered which means it is basically sawdust with glue. 2) That the bed takes 30 minutes to set up. This is definitely false. I have assembled many things in the past. I took me between 4 and 5 hours to put this together using an impact. If I had used the single allan key provided it would have taken even longer than that. 3) The advertisement is misleading saying that all the beds are ready for distribution from the "Canadian Warehouse." This gives the impression that the beds are made in Canada. Definitely not the case. They are all made in China and this becomes evident when you receive the bed because it says so on each box. 4) The assembly of the bed is made up entirely by those quarter turn lockable hinges which is a technology found in IKEA furniture. Because the wood isn't hardwood, the screws that used in these brackets cannot be removed and replaced since the threads won't have anything to bite onto. This means that if you take it apart, you could never use the same holes again because the inside is sawdust. If you plan on one day moving, good chance this cabinet bed will be destroyed since it can't be put back together again. If you tried to move it assembled, the hinge connection would no doubt fail. Forward Furniture needs should correct these mistakes in their ads as they are not correct and falsely advertise this product.
