This barbershop is as real as it gets. I have been to 4 different barbers in this shop now (Brandon, Jade, Sue, Mac) and they all have gotten me righteous with great service! They give a complimentary hair shampoo and they are the only barbershop I have ever been to that stays open until 10. The authenticity, classiness, and heart that the shop breathes in and out is unlike any other. Get your next haircut at this shop, you will be so glad you did!

Great experience! I dread trying out different barbers. After realizing I needed a haircut asap, I decided to give Fountain Square Barbershop a chance, and I am so happy I did. I showed Brandon a photo of a clean side part, and he did not disappoint. Brandon helped me figure out which side my hair would best be parted, and he made a few modifications to fit my face type. Brandon truly listened to what I wanted and didn't want. The blend is seamless, with clean lines. The atmosphere is retro and clean, and I am very happy with the experience. I will definitely be going back. Great vibes all around.

Barber shops in my city are more social club than barbershop, not that they don’t cut up a bit and have fun (they forsure do), but they never forget it’s a place of business first and some ppl got places to be. I can appreciate a fun chill place but overall I am there for my haircut and they recognized that when I came in. I do not write reviews but if I could give more stars I would. Also they also have stylist working in there and i have long hair that i get tapered on the side and barbers bo not like cutting my long hair so its convenient they also have stylists working. It’s actually not very common for a real barbershop like this.

I’m not in Indy very often but so appreciate Matt ‘Mac’ in particular. Traffic issues kept me from showing up on time but he graciously and kindly worked me in - and gave an outstanding vintage cut. Love the traditional, historic vibe, the 50s music and awesome building and storefront, but all that is hollow unless the cut is top notch… and it is. Highly recommend.

Best barbershop experience ever... Classic old school barbershop that's incredibly well maintained and clean. Most importantly... the barbers are kind, funny, and true professionals in their craft. The owner (Matthew) runs a great establishment. I'll never cut my hair anywhere else when I'm in town.
