I visited this spa with my husband for my birthday, and it was such a lovely experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive – they really made us feel special throughout the day. One of the highlights was the afternoon tea, which was absolutely delicious, and they even added “Happy Birthday” on the plate, such a thoughtful touch! All drinks were included, which felt like a real treat, and the massage was wonderfully relaxing. The spa itself is small, but that makes it feel intimate and cozy. The relaxation area is beautiful and perfect for unwinding. The only thing I would suggest is adding a sauna or steam room to make the facilities even better. Overall, it was a memorable and relaxing experience, and I’d happily return.
On the 4th October myself, sister and niece went to the Foxhills spa. The staff were amazing and friendly. They couldn't do enough for for us. The treatments that we had were unbelievable. We had the charcuterie board which was also amazing. We could not praise them enough.
Avoid - much better spas tha are worth the money. The pool is freezing. Apparently it’s the same heat as a bay pool, absolutely isn’t. Only four loungers in the pool area and only two with cushions. Not all of the jacuzzi jets work. And outside was filthy. We couldn’t sit on any of the chairs outside as they were soaking wet through to the bottom of the cushions. Absolutely sodden. Covered in pine needles/tree debris and dirty. The place hadn’t been swept in I’m not sure how long. So couldn’t relax in the garden either. Large dirty stains all up the stairs. The relaxation room is in the same small room that you eat. So not that relaxing. The afternoon tea was nice, however had to remain pretty quiet due to people trying to relax. I had emailed the spa and complained and so far have had a sub standard response and apparently it had been passed to the esates manager. It’s been weeks and just ignored. Customer service shocking. Overall we had an expensive afternoon tea in well worn robes which had to be replaced due to being torn. Save your money!!
Couldn’t recommend more! Huge thanks to Clare and the whole team for making it such a beautiful and memorable experience for us! I love a spa day and I’ve visited quite a few over the years. Foxhills is definitely a very special one. I booked this for my group of 5 friends to celebrate one couple’s upcoming wedding. I was a little nervous when trying to book because we aren’t the easiest group to accommodate. Several people have autism and severe anxiety, there’s someone with coeliac disease, and a vegan, and there’s also 2 same sex couples. Finding places that can cater to the many, many needs of the group and won’t make anyone feel uncomfortable is sometimes tricky, but Foxhills made us feel very welcome and everyone had a simply wonderful time. Booking was really easy - I submitted an enquiry and got a call back within 5 minutes! The lady I spoke to was really efficient. I booked a combination of different packages for each of us which I thought could cause problems but she made it easy to book everything in including various treatments and afternoon teas. The price was brilliant, and very very competitive! Getting to the estate was easy, and there was heaps of parking available. There were friendly staff everywhere who helped us get to the spa, and also took time to tell us about the friendly resident parrots we saw on the way in. On arrival, the staff were friendly and welcoming and took time to show us around the facilities. The entire place has been lovingly designed and maintained, everything’s bespoke and there’s no hint of public swimming pool anywhere in the decor. Nothing was too much trouble for them throughout the day. The whole spa is surprisingly large but feels cosy and small in a good way. Even when there were more people in the afternoon, it never felt crowded and we always had plenty of space to ourselves. There’s a small changing room with cubicles and vanity stations and nice bathroom with a private shower, and lockers. These are easy to get to and from anywhere in the spa at any time so you can easily put your book or phone away before a swim and then grab them after without trekking a long way like in other spas. The indoor pool is stunning, a perfect size with a sloping depth which runs quite deep at the far end. The pool is inside a greenhouse like structure so nice and warm inside, although the pool is a refreshing chilly temp, perfect to cool off after sunbathing or being in the hot tub. The doors open to the outside too for a gentle breeze. The garden area is absolutely beautiful, with plenty of loungers and seating, all tucked away behind foliage to make them feel private and secluded. There’s a large hot tub tucked away in a corner which we sat in enjoying the sun and the beautiful views. Upstairs, there’s a lounge space with comfy recliners, tables and a well-stocked free-to-use refreshment counter. We each had treatments booked and everyone came out saying they’d been marvellous. My 25min back massage was sublime! Afternoon tea was a real highlight! We each had our own stand with sandwiches, tiny savoury bakes, scones, and miniature cakes. There was no difference in quality, portion size or variety between the standard ones and the gluten free or the vegan one which was amazing. Someone’s clearly made a lot of effort to ensure no one misses out! We honestly had a simply perfect day, and I’m so grateful to all the staff, the memories will stay with us for years. Thank you 💗
Absolutely perfect! I treated a dear friend of mine to a half day spa at Foxhills. From the moment we arrived nothing was to much trouble for the lady looking after us I'm only sorry I didn't remember her name she was so friendly and welcoming. All the area's of the spa were spotlessly clean. We spent time in the relaxation room and garden including the hot tub. We both had a 25min back shoulder and neck massage this so good. We didn't get to use the pool area as it was such a sunny day. It certainly looked very welcoming though. Afternoon tea was served in the relaxation room which was so delicious had to take some of the cakes home. We could help ourselves to the refreshments for the four hours we were there which included tea, coffee, soft drinks and alcoholic ones. A bonus was we has the place completely to ourselves as nobody else booked in being a Tuesday afternoon, I understand the Spa caters for just eight people at a time which is perfect for a friends gathering which is small and intimate. Robes and towels were included, just remember to bring your clean flip flops! Thank you Foxhills a lovely afternoon 😀
