This cafe is so cute! Perfect for a tea date! It’s bright and colorful. Also cozy with beautiful lighting from the south facing windows. Calgary is in need of more cute and cozy cafes and this is it! 🙌🏼

I tried an espresso. Before I received my order, the barista pulled one for herself to check the taste of the espresso for ensuring the parameters were good. This was an exceptional professionalism. And I was super appreciate with her attitude. The reason for my 4-star grading on their food was that there is a room for them to improve their espresso. I used a refractometer to check their espresso extraction yield %. The record I had is 16.44% which was under-extracted. Beyond the numbers, I found that the aftertaste of the espresso gone very fast. The barista explained it was because their beans were quite fresh. Long story short, from my equipment analysis and my tasting. I believe they need to fine tuning their espresso machine to optimize the taste from their beans (given that their beans receive a mark of 85 from a Q-grader, which is a very good mark).

Good local coffee shop with a variety of flavoured coffee in the heart of downtown calgary. The menu was quite extensive with a variety of flavours. We trief flight to mexico, caramel and penut flavoured coffee and they were quite unique and good. I will highly recommend to try it out . I evem tried mango coconut muffin and it was amazing too. Over all great and highly recommended. Parking will be hard to find as its in downtown area there is a paid parking lot just one block which I eneded up using street parking available but hard to find a spot during busy hours Check out video & images

Frida’s Coffee House — what a colorful, cozy, and homelike place! Everything about it was simply beautiful. The interiors are full of Mexican charm, with vibrant décor and even some delicious Mexican food options. It truly gives off that “coffee home” vibe, just like the name suggests. I loved every corner of this place and the thoughtful way it’s decorated. The server was friendly and cheerful — something that feels rare these days, and it made the experience even better. I ordered a cappuccino, which was perfect for the chilly Calgary weather, and a spinach and feta pastry that was absolutely delicious. The pastry had lovely layers and a perfectly balanced filling. Frida’s is a wonderful spot to relax with friends or spend some quiet time with your laptop. There’s not much of a view outside, so it might not be the best choice if you love people-watching through the window — but inside, it’s full of warmth and color. Paid parking is conveniently available right across the street.

Oh, this place is a MUST visit. I was already enthralled by the gorgeous Mexican interior design and then proceeded to be blown away by one of the most delicious chicken quesadillas of my life. The staff was happy to answer my questions about their drinks and even accommodated to make my iced matcha less sweet, and it was perfect! Counting down the days before I can come back to try more, you can tell a lot of heart has gone into this gem of a cafe.
