Please read. Last night we went to eat for the first time there. With my husband and 2 year old plus my friend and her boyfriend. When we walked in to the restaurant the Wait staff was all sitting in a booth chilling. When the host told the server to attend to us she didn’t want to and we were clearly hearing her say that she was tired and sleepy. When we got seated at the big table by the entrance we told the server it was separate checks. 2 people and 2 plus my 2 year old. When I asked for a high chair she didn’t even bother to remove a chair from the table. When she brought the high chair she just placed it on a random spot next to a column. She put the chips and salsa on the table and she spilled some salsa on the table and it splashed on my child. She didn’t acknowledge it and didn’t cleaned it I had to use my baby wipes. When we order our food it came in different times 4 minutes a part. Server was too lazy to put the plates on the table she just handed the plates to us and they plates were hot but the food was warm. The steak is not good quality for the nachos, quesadilla, and Torta. They use meat that has a lot of fat, chewy and burnt. When we got our check the price on the ticket was different from the menu. Also there was a 18% gratuity added for a 5+ party. When my husband and my friend boyfriend went to pay they asked the server why they add the 5+ party on both tickets even though it was separate checks and my 2 year old didn’t eat because I shared a quarter of my plate with him. She said that it was a policy from the restaurant and even do there are separate tickets the table had 5 people seated. Also they asked about the different prices for the food she said the price increased because that’s the new prices even though the menu doesn’t not reflect the new price change. It was really frustrating that the Server didn’t apologize for the awful situation. They should have told us all that when we got seated. They ended up removing the 5+ party charge and removed the price increase from the food price. I was satisfied with the outcome but I don’t recommend this restaurant at all because of the awful service and food quality.

We got seated quickly and our orders were taken quickly. That was about the extent of the good. It was almost an hour after we got there before our food started coming. One person's plate was cold by the time they got it. We had been there over an hour and a half, and I had watched everyone around me eat, including people at other tables that came in after us. The waitress finally realized I had never received my food. (We hardly saw her, so I never had a chance to ask about my order.) Nearly two hours in, she brings my food. Everyone else was ready to leave, so I told her to put it in to-go plate and bring me our check. An hour later and $150 spent for four people, I'm home and still haven't eaten. We got no apology, no attempt to make it right, nothing. I normally give second chances, but for this one I won't be back. I realize it's a Saturday night the weekend before Christmas, and I tried to take that into consideration, but I cannot possibly in good conscience recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Yo if you ever in the feeling for some good Mexican and a good vibe with good service Frida’s on Madison is the place to go, and if you want to add some exceptional service to your visit ask for Frisby my boy is the truth! Like seriously if customer service was a person it would be Frisby! Shout out to the cooks at Frida’s the food was the bomb on point and I loved every bit of it!
