⭐ 1 Star Review: Disappointing and Unwelcoming Experience I had a really unpleasant experience at FunBelievable in Lakeside. My friend arrived with two Groupons for four kids total—she had two and was waiting for me to show up with the other one. Instead of helping us sort it out, the staff member was rude, dismissive, and insisted she pay an extra $20 for the fourth child. There was zero effort to understand the situation or provide good customer service. The whole interaction felt unnecessarily harsh, and honestly, it left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. It’s sad to say, but the attitude we encountered made us question whether bias played a role. I’ve heard people say Lakeside and Santee have a reputation for being unwelcoming, and unfortunately, this experience really made that stereotype feel real. I would not recommend this place—especially for families hoping for a kind and inclusive environment.

I'm very disappointed with the customer service at this business. I booked a party for my kids and paid a deposit, but unfortunately had a family emergency just a few days later that require us to go out of town the week i booked so i had to cancel. The date I booked was still a month away, so there was plenty of notice, yet they refused to refund my deposit. I completely understand policies, but I feel there should be some flexibility and compassion in situations like this. Even though I canceled almost immediately after booking, they would only offer a credit, which I won't be able to use. I even went as far as to explain what the family emergency was and how we wouldn't be having a big celebration because of what was happening. It's frustrating to lose money over something completely out of my control. I expected more understanding and better customer care.

Love taking my kids here! Its a reasonable price and parents don't have to also pay (major bonus!!!!) but parents are welcome to join kids who need them in the play places. Its not crazy modern like Jump Around or Play Place, but its just as fun for the kids. They renovated a little bit ago so its look good. It also offers kid friendly food and I'm a fan of their sandwiches. You can also bring in your own food! The staff is always courtesy and its never been packed when I go. My kids are 9, 7 and 5 and have enjoyed coming for the past 2 years.

As a safe, fun place for young children to play and socialize with peers, grandparents and parents will love FunBelievable in Lakeside. They have day rates, short term, and multi month passes - we take our grandchildren 1-2 times per week, every week. While the parents must oversee their children's conduct at play, the staff are very attentive and personable. They have a snack bar, but permit you to bring in water and small snacks for your kids.

We love this place! Super fun for the kids and a little fun for adults too! (Find your inner kid going down the big blue side). Great price for a few hours of play (under $20) Snack bar has all kinds of goodies too (coffee!!)! Great place to bring the laptop and get some work done while the kids play as well!!! I see many a mom doing that!
