Some heavy arcade users in Brisbane visit this place for maimai, wmmt, taiko, and DDR. Some other classic games like Out Run 2, Battle Gear 4, Sega Rally and Daytona USA are also available. They used to have a better game credit policy until last year; the decisions made by the Funhouse HQ in terms of updating T&C were quite disappointing.
Always a great way to kill time waiting for our movie.
Came into the store on a Sunday and the staff I think were Maf and Joe and Cindy were amazing and really helpful. Some of the games like bowling didn't work but they were all happy to help us every time.
Used to be my go to arcade for rhythm games especially DDR. I had been a regular for 2 years and in that amount of time, I had only just achieved my platinum VIP card. Little did I know, the “new and improved” VIP membership plan was just around the corner. I have now lost my 2 free game privileges and wouldn’t recommend this scammy arcade at all. A lot of talk about this is happening in the DDR community and it’s no surprise players have gotten fed up and moved to a different arcade. Timezone will always reward their customers and regulars better than funhouse ever will. Good on Funhouse for digging their own grave.
My mate from Kansas, USA - who arrived this morning at BNE after 20+ hours and three planes - is an absolute nutcase for pinball so after a midday lunch in The Valley, we came here. He hit that X-Men pinnie for an hour. Thing is, he hadn't ben to Aus' since September 2023 but goddamn if he didn't know EXACTLY where the venue was AND the machine. He was hoping to bust the "low" top score of 125,000,000 but hes ben cussing a lot since Ive ben watching. Great place, lot noise and fun. I was watching a guy play the Taiko no Tatsujin (the Japanese drum game) and hoboy, he barely missed anyway.
