Made appt with Wally. He told me since I was bringing 3 pups in he would only schedule them. Dropped off at 8:00 a.m. Called at 12:45 to see if they were ready and he said he needs time since there are 3. He had not started to groom them yet. Went down and picked them up and they had only been washed in 5.5 hours. Removed my dogs immediately. My older girl was peeing on herself as her bladder was full. This is not how you treat an animal, much less our babies. I will never go back to this place.

My Goldendoodle Biscuit goes to Fur & Feathers for boarding & daycare. Recently we had a funeral out of state that required us to be away for our boy. The staff was so so understanding, attentive, and kind. What was initially supposed to be a four day stay ended up being two weeks, and they supported me every step of the way. I got updates as to how my dog was doing, both physically and about his temparament and mood. I talked to numerous members of staff during this stay, and every one of them was kind, patient, and thorough. I can't overstate enough the peace of mind to know that your dog is being cared for in a facility that actually LOVES animals. Also - I came for the amazing services, but I stay for the birds in the window in the lobby that dance for us when we pick up or drop off! Their grooming services are also top notch, highly recommend.

I have been to a few different places around Bakersfield. Fur & Feather are by far my favorite and will not go anywhere else. Leslie takes such good care of my boy, and he loves her. Highly recommend

I use Fur and Feathers for Boarding, daycare, and grooming. My dog stays overnight multiple times per year when we are away from town and the staff are always happy to welcome Chaco and hang out with him. Chaco is excited every time we are in the area and loves playing with the other dogs during his stay. Leslie is our Groomer and she is outstanding! Fast, efficient, and fair priced. We get Chaco groomed usually once per month and he always comes back looking dapper!

My dog had been to this day care 3-4 times. Each time he was greeted as it was his first time there. That wasn't too big of a deal though, the staff was still really friendly and the price is very affordable. However, my dog got Kennel cough from his last visit which is really concerning because all of the dogs should be vaccinated which is stated when you make an appointment.. we will not be returning.
