David is a true craftsman being critical of his own work until he was satisfied that the result matched the original profiles of the chair. Replacing the broken springs and cushion foam, the chair looks and feels as good as new, and all at a very reasonable price.

Highly recommend David Bell David Bell is an amazing craftsman. In the past he has completely stripped and re-polished several items of dark wooden furniture for me and did a fantastic job. The outcome was a beautiful light coloured large wooden fire surround, sideboard and coffee tables - totally modernising my sitting room. Today he has refurbished 2 sofas with quality new foam cushion seats and re-padded the back cushions which has transformed tired looking sofas to look like new again. Throughout he has shown a great commitment, meticulous care and attention to detail and enthusiasm to the job in hand and has worked with pride and determination to provide his customer with a greatly enhanced piece of furniture. David did an amazing job on our two and three seater leather sofas. Both were sagging badly and the leather on the 3 seater was distressed. David re-tentioned the bases and replaced the leather on three of the seats. We now have two sofas that not only look great but are more comfortable than ever before. The decision to get our sofas repaired rather than repaced was definitely the right one after David did such a great job for us, and such a lovely chap to boot.
