Working with Gabriel was incredible! We were over the moon with not just how many individual frame-worthy photos and portraits he captured of our wedding, but how beautifully these images collectively told the story of our day across so many moments. We really enjoyed working with Gabriel as our photographer. He kept the mood relaxed, casual, fun, and flexible with us and our families, and brought a wealth of experience and his artist’s eye in guiding our shots. We also really appreciated how he helped us make our afternoon more efficient by helping us revise the schedule. Now being on the other side of wedding planning, we can say that the photographer is absolutely one of the most important decisions (if not the most important!) you make, and we could not recommend Gabriel more highly.
Gabriel exceeded expectations! We were drawn to his work because of the way he captured true joyful moments and he absolutely delivered. We couldn't be happier with our experience working with Gabriel as our wedding photographer. From the start, his communication was clear and thoughtful, and he really went out of his way to help us plan for all the little details. Gabriel’s experience with weddings was clear, and his calm, organized approach made us feel completely at ease. On the big day, he managed to keep our friends and family engaged and captured so many candid moments. For a one-man show covering a 130-person wedding, he didn’t miss a thing. The photos are absolutely beautiful, and the gallery is incredibly thorough—we couldn’t ask for more. He also got the pictures back to us quickly, which was such a nice surprise. Gabriel clearly cares about his work and his clients, and we’re beyond grateful to have had him there. Gabriel is an incredible photographer. At first, I had mixed feelings choosing Gabriel as my photographer because he is my brother in law (I wanted him in the wedding as a guest—not working). However, after looking at countless photographers’ work and meeting with them, I couldn’t find anyone who could give my wedding the right natural, “lifestyle” style of photography. One photographer even told me that they leave before the dancing starts! What I really wanted in my photos was to get everyone naturally at the wedding, with a few posed photos (wedding family, wedding party, bride and groom, etc.) Gabriel wrangled our 30+ family members for group photos and even took an incredible group shot of all 90 guests at our wedding! He provided numerous candid photos of my friends and family. One guest even said that the photos Gabriel took were the best of him and his partner that they’d ever had. And to top it all off, he can even provide a Photo Booth! So from a slightly biased sister in law, Gabriel’s photography is well worth it.

And if you don't believe us, start following his Instagram page and check out his blog posts on his website. We (Rachel & Kevin) got married twice in 2018. The first time was in San Francisco City Hall on a Tuesday; the second time was in Litchfield, NY on a Saturday. We were fortunate to have Gabriel there for both events. Gabriel has an innate ability to capture beautiful, candid shots. Good photography was the top priority for both of us for our weddings. We began looking for photographers early in the planning process. Gabriel was a suggestion from a friend who had him on her short list of wedding photographers for her own wedding. After we saw samples of weddings from various photographers, Gabriel was the only wedding photographer we met in person. We were sold on him and on his work. We did an elopement session (3 hour block) for our SF City Hall wedding. Gabriel has shot at SF City Hall many times and was able to interject and get us the best spot in the building to have our ceremony that day which we greatly appreciated. We spent the first 1-1.5 hours in City Hall taking pictures then wandered over to Potrero Hill for some more outside/candid shots. We were tasked with figuring out some nice places for post-ceremony pictures that day. When it was clear Kevin and I had failed (i.e. we chose to aimlessly wander around random parts of Potrero Hill), Gabriel helped us get it together and picked out a couple spots by the water and Bay Bridge to finish out the session. The pictures came out great and we ended up using one of our SF City Hall pictures on our wedding invitations for the NY celebration. We flew Gabriel out to New York State for the bigger, more traditional wedding ceremony and it was easy to work with him when coordinating that trip. We sorted out his hotel room, flights, and rental car leading up to the day for him and he did a good job of telling us what he would or wouldn’t need for the trip. Gabriel is easy going, full of stories and adaptable. He was super fun to have as our photographer; our guests came up to us many times throughout the night to underscore that fact. Immediately following our ceremony, he easily herded all 150 of our guests together for a group photo. During the cocktail hour, we wandered off for bride/groom shots. Gabriel, having never been to the wedding site prior to the day of the event, was able to pick out beautiful spots for pictures. For our bride/groom shots he had us wander into a field full of golden rod flowers, then into a corn field and finally pose in front of a random old barn down the road. The pictures turned out incredible. He also did an impeccable job of wandering around the reception to get photos of all our guests. Finally, Gabriel is crazy fast at turning around the photos. We got all 900+ of our photos in THREE DAYS; the event was on a Saturday and we had the photos by the following Tuesday. We were and continue to be beyond thrilled with his work. Gabriel is very direct and means what he says. We saw this at both of our events this year. Very rarely is there any ambiguity around what was expected of us or what was to be expected from him. We’d hire Gabriel again in a heartbeat and will continue to sing his praises to anyone who is in the market for a photographer.
