Cathy really helped with our new puppy. We needed a puppy trainer and we really wanted in-home lessons and that’s what her business is all about. She was great, she called me right back, we set up an in-home meeting, and she even gave us lots of tips even in that first free meeting. We started by buying six lessons and we quickly were seeing so much progress that we actually bought a total of 12 lessons because our puppy training was going so well and it was fun. Because she comes to the house it was super convenient and easy to organize. I wanted to remember everything she taught me and my family so I even bought one of her e-books so I could remember all the fun games we played.
Cathy was amazing in helping us integrate our Olde English Bulldogge puppy, Hank, into our home with our two older Dogue de Bordeaux girls. Despite being hundreds of kilometers away, Cathy patiently guided us through daily Zoom sessions, explaining our dogs' body language and providing thorough instructions. After two weeks of following her advice, Hank is fully integrated, and our youngest Bordeaux adores him. Cathy's expertise and dedication made all the difference; without her, we would have struggled immensely. Highly recommend!
I have hired Cathy to help my senior dog who hates having her nails trimmed and she has also helped with my 2.5 year old dog who is a fearful German Shepard rescue. Cathy also lives in Dundas which means she is super fast to come over and help. She is kind, personable and always willing to help in every way she can. She loves puppy training and I strongly recommend her to all those who live in Dundas, Waterdown, Burlington, Hamilton or Ancaster.
Cathy has been amazing training my three dogs. I got two puppies before Christmas, and she not only has trained my puppies, but she has also been working with my rescue (who, while having come far, still has a long way to go). I've seen vast improvements in all of my babies, and I have dogs that come when called for the first time in my life. I highly recommend Games4Dogs - it's changed my life from being full of joy but always low grade stressful and isolating, to actually being able to have my dogs around my kids and their friends. We love Cathy!!
We adopted 2 shelter dogs during the pandemic (when no in-person dog training options existed). Thank goodness for Cathy and her online dog training lessons! It didn't matter that we weren't local, Cathy was still able to guide us through training our adorable, but rambunctious, poochies--Franky and Nuala. Beyond routine training, she also helped us manage some unique challenges: Franky's motion sickness in the car and Nuala's boredom-related anxiety during her 8-week recovery from knee surgery. Cathy is knowledgeable, professional, responsive, and easy to connect with. I recommend her wholeheartedly!
