We couldn’t get into our usual vet and we had an emergency. Garden Oaks Vet made space for us and contacted our other vet and got all the medical history for us. Staff was great. Dr was pragmatic. Katie at the front desk is delightful and so welcoming. We are excited to find our new family vet.

Garden Oaks Veterinary Center has restored my faith in getting pet care for my spicy cat. My fur baby, Leo, a 5 year old cat, was experiencing mouth pain and I knew he needed some help. He weighs nearly 20lbs and strongly opinionated so it is difficult to get him to cooperate at the vet. Dr. Vega and his staff went above and beyond to get my baby care. They were so helpful and accommodating to get my Leo the vet care he needed. Everyone was so helpful, compassionate, and wanted what was best for my pet's health. Garden Oaks Vet is amazing and they really helped me care for my spicy fur baby. They have a separate entrance to the building for cats and their cat rooms have a cat tree in it to keep the cat occupied and feel more comfortable.

They're very friendly but they're extremely busy. The last two visits my dog and I waited in the room for nearly 45 minutes, saw the doctor, waited another 40. They're also expensive. I used to come here for convenience. I ended up needing to go to another vet because Garden Oaks exacerbated the issue and turns out I overpaid by a lot. I guess we are paying for the remodel. I will not be returning here again.

We brought our dog in after she twisted a digit on her paw while playing. She was in a lot of pain when we arrived without an appointment. The staff was so calming and friendly. They got us a room and assured us that a vet would be in ASAP. They were very transparent and upfront with what the visit would most likely cost and the timeframe. We did not have to wait long before a vet and assistant came in to see our dog. They were so kind, gentle, and quick with their care. They communicated with us every step of the way as they evaluated and made a game plan. They treated her and we went home and continued with our day and we feel very lucky for that. Their care and communication has earned our trust, but more importantly our dog Penny’s trust (which is hard to earn!) We are switching our routine check up visits to Garden Oaks because of the wonderful experience we had. And if another emergency happens, Garden Oaks will always be our first call.
