Garden of the Gods

This is an absolutely GORGEOUS experience! You can drive through the loop in about 30 minutes but plan to spend at least 2 hours to park and walk inside these towering red cliffs. People can climb or you can stroll through at your leisure. Everything is free (including the visitor center). There are deer that stroll around at dusk which is breathtaking. This is an absolute must see if you are around Manitou Springs or Colorado Springs!

As the name suggests, this place is really Godly. With an excellent backdrop of the Rocky Mountains and the Pikes Peak towering - this place is an absolute delight. Proper paved trails with information boards frequently to make it easy for everyone to walk and identify structures and learn more details about them. Cleanliness is at its pinnacle here. Free for the public and generous parking space, this is a must visit for anyone coming here. Such a delightful place to visit.

The trails are well-marked, clean, and suitable for every level, so it’s perfect whether you’re hiking with family or just looking for a peaceful walk. The visitor center gives helpful information and the viewpoints are incredible for photos, especially around sunset. Parking can get busy, but honestly, the scenery is worth a little patience.
