We were scheduled to stay at this hotel from 1/9-1/12. The initial check in was smooth and staff was very kind. We were directed to Rm 114 and the initial impressions of the rooms were spectacular. However after looking over the bed we found some stains and also some specks that upon closer inspection turned out to be bugs which we believed to be bed bugs at the time. We immediately took pictures and video, and notified the front desk and they were able to get us switched to rm 135. We went to inspect the bed after arriving in the room and found more bug activity. We notified the front desk and they sent over their manager Eugene. Eugene came in, checked out our “bug” and flicked it off the bed and audaciously claims “oh they’re just dust mites” He goes on to further minimize our findings with statements like “in my 40 years, we’ve never had a bug issue” This lack of understanding to two guests after a long day of travel was honestly surprising and lacks hospitality. Regardless of what “bugs” they claim to be, no guest wants to jump in bed after a long travel day into a bed with stained sheets and bugs. After two rooms with bugs, we left the hotel to stay at another property across town and Eugene has yet to return any calls regarding any refund of our booking. It’s honestly a shame because it’s such a perfect location and we were looking forward to a relaxing anniversary weekend here but was met such apathy.
Everything about my stay was impressive. A major storm rolled in on my second night, and by morning fresh snow blanketed Garden of the Gods Park, creating a breathtaking view right from my room. Because I booked through Hotels.com, I received a room upgrade along with nightly expense credits, which was a wonderful bonus. The room itself was outstanding, with a spacious living area featuring a cozy fireplace and a luxurious bathroom complete with a huge soaking tub — perfect after a cold, snowy day. While I didn't catch the names of all the amazing staff, a few stood out. Ella was an exceptional host who checked in with me before, during, and after my stay, making sure I had everything I needed and that my Hotels.com benefits were fully applied. One evening, I enjoyed a fantastic dinner at one of the on-site restaurants, complete with stunning views of Garden of the Gods Park; Jodie was a warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly server who made the experience even better. At the spa, Erica provided a treatment that was both skilled and welcoming. From start to finish, this stay truly lived up to its name — it felt like a real resort experience in every sense.
If you want a 5-star hotel experience, please come and stay here! I would not recommend it enough. The front desk ladies were so nice, friendly and helpful. The room itself was gorgeous with high-end furniture and so cozy. One of the most beautiful views I have ever had in the hotels. Small hint: if you would wake up just 5 min before sunrise and step outside to see the mountains in the red sunlight, OMG. The breakfast is delicious and the waiter is so professional.
We have stayed here many times over the years! In fact we got married at here! The service is always perfect, by every staff member, above and beyond!! The location is breathtaking, with unmatched views! The food is delicious, from Breakfast to Dinner, from appetizers to desserts, 5 Star! The amenities are numerous, from golf to spa, message to workout! This is truly a wonderful experience!
--- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My husband and I celebrated our anniversary dinner at Garden of the Gods Grandview, and it was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, everything was perfect. Our waitress was so friendly and attentive, making us feel truly special on our big day. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the food was delicious. But what truly made the evening unforgettable was the breathtaking view of Garden of the Gods. Watching the sun set over those stunning red rocks while we enjoyed our meal was something we’ll never forget. It was the perfect setting for a romantic, memorable night. We can’t wait to come back — highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food, wonderful service, and one of the most beautiful!
