David refinished two tables for me. They belonged to my grandmother and had 9 coats of paint and varnish that had to be removed. David got all that off down to the original cherry, which is now glowing and beautiful again. Though it took hours longer than he anticipated, he didn't take short cuts and stuck to his original estimate. These are now pieces I can use in my home and pass down in good condition to my daughter.

David has refinished two pieces for us, a kitchen table and a bedroom chest. He has done a phenomenal job on both, restoring them to look like new and match well with other pieces. He has been very timely in his work and his prices are very fair. I trust his judgment with any wood piece to refinish and I will definitely use him in the future and recommend him to anyone looking to restore valuable wood furniture.

David, who owns “Garrett Finishing and Restoration” is an incredibly skilled Artisan!! He was the “4th”, and only wood cabinet staining / refinishing professional, who had the knowledge, skills, multi-layer color acuity, and absolute tenacity to get our damaged cabinet facings looking 100% new again!! David came in and did an amazing job on my cabinets they look brand new he was very considerate of my home, my time and my pets I am so in love with my kitchen! The pricing was more than fair and a lot less than the other bids that I got. He didn't just paint my cabinets he made them brand new! My kitchen is so bright and warm I cannot say enough about how much we love it

My TV console was jarred during a move and got completely out of square. The doors hung oddly and the whole piece was slanted. Garrett Finishing and Restoration was quick to respond and quick to get it back structurally sound. I will definitely go back for any future furniture repair needs.
