This place is the absolute best place to go to for any Auto type repairs. I have 2021 GMC Sierra Truck and I was told by the dealership that I would need a 6000.00 repair on my trucks transmission and that it could take up to a month to get to the truck and I would have to leave it with them and they would get to it when they could. I was fortunate to find Gene Browns transmission and took the truck to them to see if they could look at it to repair. Luckily Chris was working that day and he informed me he could get to my truck the next day and informed me that he would first pull the pan on the transmission and see if there were any shavings on the pan. He discovered that they were not and informed me that he would just change the oil and lubricate and see if that fixed the problems with the tugging of the truck. Chris did exactly that and saved me about 5500.00. His expertise and knowledge of auto mechanics were beyond description. I am once again needing my brake pads replaced and the truck is there again for them to take care of that issue as well. I will not let any other auto shop work on my truck. This is an honest group of auto mechanics that are not just out to make a buck but rather solve problems for customers in the best way they can. Thank you to a great group of mechanics. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I brought in my 04 Jeep Wrangler with transmission issues, they took about a week to repair many issues and even delivered it to my home afterwards when I wasnt able to meet up. I did have issues afterwards (NOT related to the original issue) and they were quick to receive, inspect, and repair it. I will be bringing my families vehicles here from now on. They even ask to bring it back after then days for a check up. They are accountable and a reliable source. Thank you for your help!!!

I can't say enough good things about the whole team over at Gene Brown in BrookHollow. From the moment I walked in, Cris made me feel like they genuinely cared about giving me the best service possible. Unlike many shops, he took the time to fully explain what was going on with my car and helped me understand which repairs were truly necessary and which were not. They went above and beyond to source parts at the best price, and they even gave me options to fit my budget without sacrificing quality. Their honesty and reliability stood out to me the most. There was no pressure to approve unnecessary repairs or services, which I greatly appreciated. It's rare, very rare, to find an auto repair shop that values transparency and customer satisfaction over profit, and Gene Brown is truly a gem in that regard. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an honest, customer-first auto repair experience.

This is the shop that most people wish they could find. By far the most knowledgeable, honest, trustworthy, and friendly shop around. I've been treated as nothing less than a friend the whole time I've been coming here. They fix things right the first time and never try to sell me anything I don't need. Chris has personally overseen the complete restoration of my 78 Chevy K10. I couldn't be more happy and impressed
