The sweetest people ever. They fixed my glasses (had a missing screw) and even did a fitting all at no charge. They are so helpful & thoughtful! Would totally recommend checking out this place for new frames - they have a large option for various face types (Asian fitting frames too)!

I was amazed at the number of good reviews for this business. I had a very bad experience there and would never go back or recommend this business to anyone. I spent over $1000 with them on the lenses for 3 pair of frames, but only 1 pair is correct enough to be used, and those lenses were put in the wrong frame. I returned to my ophthalmologist to be sure of the prescription and then returned to Gene Rogers Optical to share with them what I had learned. I was not well treated. There was little interest in setting things right. My previous opticians for 20 years were wonderful, very skillful and practiced quality customer service, but unfortunately closed their Austin area store. A hard lesson learned.

I had such a great experience finding glasses here! Not only did they have an extremely diverse range of vintage glasses, they were also not too crazy expensive. The owner was so helpful during the process and when I asked for advice, he gave me solid opinions and thoughts on which glasses suited me. I will 100% be back for my next pair!

Gene Rogers is a fantastic place ! I needed my Silhouette frames adjusted because the other optician that ordered the frame and lenses did not do a proper job on it, so I went to Gene Rogers and Kyle fixed it in 5 minutes. I feel great wearing my frames now. Thank you so much Kyle ! Please keep Gene Rogers in your mind for your eyewear needs, they are fantastic people. Hard to find such good and competent people anymore.

Renee and Gene seriously saved me! I have been looking for weeks to have a pair of glasses repaired for a student at my school. Since October we have been working to get this student a pair of new glasses but for various reasons we haven’t been able to make it work. The old pair she was able to find was missing both arms. I called gene during work one day and he assured me they would be able to fix the glasses at no charge. I showed up and within MINUTES the glasses were repaired. The relief that washed over me! I don’t even know where the glasses originally were purchased and Gene Rogers Optical still fixed them. So so so so happy!
