I paid a $6k retainer, provided a few documents and spoke to ross twice before I terminated the agreement. They kept nearly $1500. The two calls were about 30min just arguing with him to see my case for what it was - I am an alienated parent. He kept telling me my case would be an uphill battle, and twice told me not to get overly emotional when I get see my daughter, wrongfully assuming I would because he had a recent client act that way. He kept bringing up things that had nothing to do with my case. He provided no advice, attempted to beat down my confidence and overall had no idea what the facts of my case were. I have hired a great, savvy, knowledgeable and very responsive attorney that has put in 10x more work, in 3 weeks, that cost me around the same as what Genesis Legal stole from me. Do not use Genesis Legal firm.
