I Stayed at a hotel in Boston that had a George Howell Coffee, and honestly, it ended up being one of the highlights of the trip. I had a cortado that was just spot on—beautifully balanced, rich without being heavy, and clearly made with care. You can tell when a place really respects the coffee, and this was one of those times. Got a latte for my wife as well, and she loved it—smooth, well-textured, and not overly milky. We couldn’t resist trying the sticky buns, and they absolutely delivered—warm, soft, perfectly sweet without going overboard. Paired with the coffee, it was one of those simple but memorable moments. Service was friendly and efficient, and the overall ambience was relaxed and welcoming—exactly what you want from a good café, whether you’re starting your day or taking a break. Would definitely go back.

Pretty good food and drinks here! I think they really excel with their beverages, I got their rose latte with oat milk and it was so good. They had pretty good food, I asked for no cream cheese and they messed it up and put cream cheese, but they re-made it for free very quickly which was super nice. They also have a student discount! Plenty of seating, they share a room with this other company so you never have to worry about that.

Our hotel was connected to this coffee shop. It is clean with lots of options to choose from. The coffee and baked goods we had here were good. Quick and polite service.

George Howell has good coffee and plenty of seating which makes it a practical spot to sit and work for a while. The service is also solid and consistent. That said, the atmosphere is lacking in character. It may be the fact that the location is within a business complex, but the space itself feels a bit utilitarian rather than distinctive or cozy. Still, the quality of the coffee and the reliable service make it a good option for co-working... if you’re able to find a seat.

Glorified Starbucks. Overpriced mediocre cafe au lait. 2 stars because I like that they use high lawn milk.
