Delightful store with a wide variety of plants, both indoor and outdoor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I needed a bonsai tree for a gift and this place had what I needed. I will be back to add additional plant life to my home.

an amazing experience at Ginkgo Gardens today. Cole helped me choose several low maintenance plants and gave thoughtful tips that made the whole visit enjoyable. I ended up getting a Hoya Compacta Hindu Rope, a ZZ plant, a Philodendron Lemon Neon, a Bromeliad, a Crassula Jade, an annual, and a six inch Euphorbia Firestick cactus. Everything looked healthy and high quality. The store was quiet this morning so I received very personalized attention, but even on past visits when it was busy, the staff has always been friendly, patient, and welcoming. You can really tell they care about their customers and the plants they sell. Prices are higher than places like Home Depot or Lowes, but the quality is much better and well worth it. This is one of the best plant shops in DC and I will keep coming back. Highly recommend.

I won’t be back. I had a day off and decided to visit Ginko after seeing them advertised on TikTok. When I walked in, I was the only one in the shop. There was an older white guy with grey hair at the counter and he barely greeted me. It’s fine…I’m thinking maybe he’s shy. Idk ..so I go to look at the succulents over by the window and I greet the shop cat. A few moments later, an older white lady comes in and he loudly and proudly greets her, welcomes her in, asks if she needs help, and brushes past me having not given me the same energy. I immediately left. As a black woman, that experience is not something I want to have again and definitely not in DC. Please fix your customer service. Every customer should be treated the same.

I love Ginkgos! We are so lucky to have them in the neighborhood. I picked out the most beautiful marigolds from them and even got to see their cat Kitty on my way out!

Wow. Wow. Wow. What a treat to find on a visit in the city. Never did I think so much could be packed into such a space! Any and everything hanging from the ceiling, the cutest little pots and planters and everything in between. I got some seeds, chunky mix and bamboo by the stick. The upstairs and outside hold plants galore, can’t wait to return
