Update 9/26/25 - At this point cookie has had many half days full days a week and even longer when we left the states. She absolutely loves Gizmos! We pay for the puppy update and she never looks sad lol. Update - Cookie had her first half day! They said she did well and when we got home she was completely drained. Slept for the rest of the day but was back to normal the following day. I don't think she could handle a longer day at the moment but she came back in perfect health. They also let us see the facilities through the front desk camera system since they don't offer tours. It looks very nice, clean and organized. I liked the boarding area and the play areas were a nice size as well. ------------------- Today Cookie did her meet and greet and it went very well. From the pickup report it sounded like she started to want to play at the end of the hour. Looking forward to ramping her up slowly to a half day. I would really like to do a tour of the place to see inside but it seemed like a hard ask during peak hours. The front desk area was very nice and clean and for what I could see through the window into the dog area it looked nice. Questions I asked beforehand... How long are the dogs supervised? - 24/7 How would you deal with an emergency like a fire. - seemed like they had a plan. Do the employees go through dog body language training? -The main woman has many years of experience in it and the other staff get training. How would you deal with a dog being aggressive? - With the meet and greet/ temperament test all the dogs at the daycare are friendly or show no aggression. What is the human to dog ratio? - For the small dogs it's 1:15 How do you handle feedings? - for daycare lunches the owners will bring in the dogs food and the dog will be taken into a independent pod to get fed.

Gizmo’s rocks! Our cattle dog mix runs inside every time we drop him off! Matt and Amber do a great job running the place

We love Gizmo’s! Amber and Matt provide such a loving and clean environment for our sweet boy! We wouldn’t go anywhere else! Thank you for taking such great care of everyone! ♥️

I am consistently impressed with every visit we make to Gizmos. Our pup is a regular at their Doggie Daycare and gets excited every time we arrive, which is a clear sign of a happy and content dog. The owners are incredibly professional and genuinely thrilled to see each dog that comes through their doors. We’ve also boarded our dog there overnight, and he always comes home looking extremely happy and healthy—like he’s just had a fun sleepover with his friends! Thank you, Amber and Matt, for creating such a safe and enjoyable environment for the dogs. It truly gives our family peace of mind while we’re at work or away, knowing our pet is treated with care and respect. It’s a true home away from home.

My boys Dex and Sam LOVE going to Gizmo’s! I have nothing but good things to say about this place. We have done boarding for multiple days in a row and regularly use the daycare service. The place is super clean and the doggies are in a safe area, and are supervised all the time. All the other pups are very nice. The owners are also super nice and accommodate to the needs of our pups. (i.e. one of my dogs has a medical condition and needs to be watched closely while playing. And after seeing how happy he is when he comes back, I have no doubt he’s well taken care of). Super recommended!
