Outstanding experience with Glasgow City Boats! My brother and I completed our RYA First Aid and Level 2 Powerboat courses here and couldn’t be happier. The team is incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely go above and beyond. The first aid training was interactive and engaging and the lady that runs it is lovely, for our level 2 powerboat we had Kevin he was friendly, helpful, so knowledgeable and professional throughout. Their boats are top-notch, and the location on the Clyde near the Science Centre is stunning. We’ll be back for all our RYA CPD—highly recommend!
I recently went to GCB for my RYA Power Boat Level 2. Both John and Kev were brilliant. Very informative and took the time to make sure each person understood what they were explaining. Definitely something I recommend to anyone with a power boat. I'll be back in the future for further training.
Just done my powerboat level 2 with John and Kev. Brilliant knowledge from both on two boats between the group. Would highly recommend to anyone with a boat or looking to buy a boat even if you have loads of experience or none. 5 stars from me
A must to do course and very informative if you are ever to be in charge of a vessel on water. Two days, both theory and practical. A lot of common sense, and need to know rules on water. John is a patient instructor and will help you learn with ease. Very enjoyable and proud owner of an RYA L2 and ICC license now. Recommended.
An excellent tour with the highly knowledgeable and professional driver/guide, Kevin. Well worth the ticket price. We saw where ships were built in the past (my family history) and are being built now, as well as how the city and river are changing. An added bonus is that Kevin knows when to not create wash and drives safely, unlike other cowboys.
