Wonderful day spent learning how to blow glass! Rob taught us the basics - and was terrific about safety - then we made little items! He was a very engaging and excellent teacher. I made a paperweight with blue and white swirls. It was very rewarding and absorbing. Restaurants and coffee shops nearby, parking lot across the street. For anyone with the slightest interest or none!

My husband had a GRAND time. We booked a date night, the experience was fun, educational and very interesting. We will definitely come back for more classes.

GlassRoots was awesome. We took the 3 Hour Playing with Fire course with Ben this past weekend. It was so cool learning about all the steps for basic glass blowing, and then ACTUALLY GETTING TO DO THEM. This wasn't one of those boring, watch the instructor do all of the cool stuff, and then you do the bare minimum to make it. Instead we got to gather the glass, use the marver, add color, twist and shape it, the whole 9 yards. I can't wait to go back, since the instructors indicated that once you learn the basics, each subsequent time you can do more and more!

Absolutely amazing! We booked a private lesson to celebrate my friend’s bday. We loved the creation space and got to work after Radka, explained the tools and process. Radka, our instructor, was incredibly knowledgeable and patient with us as it was our first time she explained everything and more as we were excited and inquisitive about the creative process. The experience was phenomenal and we loved learning the process. Can’t wait to see the results of our endeavors! Thanks Glass Roots!
