DO NOT GO TO THIS OAKLAND LOCATION. The garbage employee stayed on his phone the whole time. When cashing out a $300+ order he acted like I was holding him up from talking on the phone. He was disrespectful all around. I have Pro Access. He lied and said I had zero reward dollars available to use. He lied and said there was no promo but one get one 50% off going on. Worst service at any GNC store I’ve ever been to. Avoid this store at all costs unless you want to waste your money.

Didn’t find what I was looking for but the employee immediately knew off the top of his head that they didn’t carry the exact items I was asking about and walked me through the similar options in a very succinct yet detailed and helpful way.

Nathan at the GNC on Piedmont Ave in Oakland is the most generous person I have ever encountered when it comes to explaining products and his philosophies and views on fitness and exercise. He takes the time to break everything down whenever I feel like I want to discuss something. I don’t always use supplements to support my mind and body with my training, but when I do or whenever I feel like I want some firsthand insight into anything I go to Nathan to bounce questions off of and confirm intel. I came in today to get some creatine, nothing fancy, and had a customer in front of me finishing his sale talking about a creatine product. The gentleman behind the counter was super informative (I believe his name was Sam) and was comparing the other brands and stating pros and cons that won me over on grabbing a new brand I haven’t tried before. I usually get ON branded creatine but with his explanation of the product, and it being on sale, I could help but to buy his recommendation the CG5. During my checkout, he noticed I was running on 2 brain cells as I was apologizing for not remembering things, he offered me a Ghost drink on the house and made my day. If you need friendly staff that actually knows their stuff, you should swing by this location

Came here first time to this shop Zack store associate came here and he was very professional good customer service and was able to answer all my questions over all gave some samples to try out i appreciate it stop by
